Tough to be an American French or English right now. Russians but especially Chinese have collected all the votes in the votes in the UN right now.

Ban has to be independent and impartial in order to make UN a respected organization again...

Kosova is Independet and if Serbia tries anything it will deal with the mighty U.S. for any ilegal act.

The EU mission is illegal. If the UN fail in their duty then it will give Serbia the green light to take control. 1244 speaks of Serbian police returning to Kosovo so they have more legitimacy than the EU mission.

There can be no division of UNMIK within Kosovo otherwise it will become redundant.

This plan is just speculation and the new government will have to make it clear that this is not going to happen. 1244 remains in place until agreed otherwise.

The EU and the US have lost so much face over this. If it were not so serious it would be funny. Ha Ha.

They will spend the next several years trying to fix what they broke.

They were incompetent - they could have had an agreement with democratic Serbia onside, but were railroaded by the monoethinic ambitions of the Albanians who happen to live in Kosovo.

One more thing, your almighty USA is no longer that almighty now. It has the world's largest debt that continues to grow ever larger still ..... financed ironically by those "poor" and "insignificant" countries that you seemed to despise like China with the world's largest greenback reserves.
