BEN,you're boring any more on this site..,and "nonsence" generally...Protectors were Byzantine,Turkey,Nazi-Italy/Germany and Neo-Nazi-US to Albanians, don't use that word for Serbia!

Zoki: your fantasy is astonishing ;)

Since "we were" on the wrong side and "you defeated the Nazi-fascists" pls illuminate us, who liberate Belgrade in WW 2: chetniks? drazists? communists? or maybe the red Army? ;)… speaking about contemporary history, we can discuss this also for some years before as well if you wish.

Ataman: your love for the Serbs is astonishing as well. Bizarre for a Hungarian from Vojvodina but it is well known psychological phenomena it is called “Stockholm Syndrome”.

Anyhow, when it is love in question I always bless it.

But I have to correct you slightly on the matter of culture spreading: the alphabet that Serbs and Russians and other Slavic nations are using is called, Cyrillic and was founded by Bulgarian priests Cyril and Methodius educated by Byzantium and the alphabet was BASED on the Greek alphabet. So not very sure about Serbian contribution on this matter, although it may well have been in other fields.

One thing is for sure, as you unconsciously but meticulously mentioned:

the western culture was spread from SOUTH Europe to north and west. And guess who lives in south Ataman ;)))

cheers

Historically quite often opposite did happen. Beginning with the alphabet and ending with the official language shared by both till ca. mid-18th Century (a now-extinct south Slavonic dialect, called "Church-Slavic"). Don't forget the number of exiled Serbian clegymen, icon painters and commons mostly settled in Novgorod in 15th Century. We can continue with Borodino hero

and so on. It's impossible to say, it was Serbs who rather influence Russians or the other way. It was probably a "tie". One is sure: a "puppet" never steers his "master".

How dare anyone accuse Serbia of being a puppet of Russia-especially the Albanians? Albanians haven't even created one of the states they currently "occupy." Albania created by Italy/Austro-Hungary and that's a basket case. The current occupation of Kosovo by US/NATO is another hand me down state which will not last. You people need to get out of your hole and realize that if Serbia was a puppet it would not be at such a difficult crossroad. If that horrible Milosevic had allowed a NATO presence in Serbia in the early 1990s they would have quietly encouraged Serbia to gobble the Albanians up. Read some history for your own sake before you call Serbs puppets.

EA,"impressing" is just a formality - why should anybody impress executor and place-keeper..Nothing is about to change and we have "it" with Putin..,still..Don't worry, everything is going to "happen",it's already "written" and very well planned.

"Kostunice is trying to impress the Russian leader by twisting his arm!" - What are you talking about..

KV,wrong page man..,check the browser!! This title is about Serbia/Russia - not about albania/US..,post that in your - right place,Albanian one!! Just helping!

"Thanks to Russia's principled support for the respect of the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law, the violation of the basic principles, on which peace and safety in the world are founded, was prevented at the Security Council in regards to the issue of Serbia's province of Kosovo and Metohija," underscored Koštunica.

We know that Russians are your protectors- since the creation of your Serbian state- you don't have to remind us that Medvedev will be your friend ;)

Without Russia you could only dream owning Kosova- and the UDI would've been made in 1912, from Turkey not Serbia. It was Russia that forced Kosova being part of Serbia at that time and it is trying to do the same today- but this time it will not work.

The Kosovars loves for freedom will/is triumphing.
