If you keep living in the myth of "Heavenly Serbia" (New Israel, elected people, Kosovo as your Jerusalem, cult of violence ecc), you'll never see this hand.

Maybe EU is worried of what might happen to the Albanians of the region when Nikolic and Kostunica come to power and what it might provoke in Kosovo. Maybe it is urging them to vote, to have them legitimized once more as Serbian citizens.

I understand they're trying to do their job but,I think NO Albanian should participate in any Serbian election until the Serbs in north mitrovica do the same,it's just a bad move from our part and it's not in our interests at all...Albanians within Serbian border should not have to do at all with Serbian government either.

I think that the Valley Albanians should participate in the Serbian elections en masse, not only to assure a better political rappresentation, but also to give another proof to the
World that Albanians are a factor of stability in the Balkans, and that what we really want, is peace and cooperation with our neighbors.

KV & R. Kapella,
Albanians will not vote neither Tadic nor LDK. They'll vote their own rappresentatives and their own political parties. Of course coalitions with other Serbian politacal parties should not be excluded, but I've to stress the fact that to this moment none of the political parties in power in Serbia has ever expressed the wish for forming any type of coalition (this is politically justifiable since Albanians can elect at most 2 PMs in a Parliament of some 250 to 300 members -don't know the exact mumber).

But if we really want peace & reconciliation, all the parts in game have to play their role.
And I have to say with deep sorrow that until now Serbs have played a VERY DESTRUCTIVE ROLE. Look what is happening in North Mitrovica: border crossing structures given to the flames, an Ucrainian UN employee killed, obsination to organize elecions in a neighboring country ecc.... eccc.... the list of their misdeeds is very long and unfortunately il only keeps lengthenning.

Dear Serbs,
PATIENCE HAS A LIMIT and we're not going to tend to you the hand of friendship for eternity if you will mot change your behaviour.

The headline says "OSCE calls on Albanians to vote"

whereas the article says

"BUJANOVAC -- OSCE Mission Chief in Serbia Hans Ola Urstad met with Albanian leaders in the Preševo Valley, calling no Albanians to participate in the May 11 elections."

I think the word "no" here should "on". The transposition of the letters gives the sentence the opposite meaning.

Not a day goes without €U interference in Serbias internal affairs and most notably to favor their clients in splitting up the rest of the country.

Not that their OECD-lobby demands would would change anything in this matter, the valley albanian´s boss and €Us favourite mass murderer has already told them to vote so the outcome would be 99.8%.
