The infrastrcture is already there, as is a very skilled and educated labour force. Fiat would make this deal no matter what, because it makes economic sense to them. When Tadic or Dinkic say this deal is only because of the signing of that worthless SAA paper, which is not and will never be implented, that is a pure lie meant to dupe the Serbian voters once again.

Today it is Fiat, tomorrow it may be Cos from all over the world and not just these 'blood sucking' EU states...!

Serbs has all the things Companies from all need...
1.Cheap , educated labour.
2.Easy access to both East, West and Central Europe.
3. Emerging Middle-Class.
4. Geo-political status, out of EU, but inside Europe...

Serbia can become a haven in no time, if wise decisions are taken by the new Govt.

May god give Serbs strength, wisdom and the independence to make their own 'GOLDEN' future....

Fiat/Italy does not need SAA to make special arrangements with Zastava/Serbia;

Did Volkwagon Germany pay EU import tax on Volkswagons made in Mexico?

Does BMW Germany pay EU export tax on General Motors vehicles made in Germany and exported to General Motors USA?

It doesn't matter because either way it must be still more cost effective for the recipient, and also beneficial to the country of manufacture.

It's about the bottom line...money - and not the SAA.
