Deputy leader of the Radicals (SRS) Tomislav Nikolić said in southern Serbia yesterday that his party is ready to defend Serbia's territory after May 11.
Did it really come already that far, that the SRS is bringing Serbia as a province of Russia? Many countries in Europe were glad to be free nations again, after they have been dominated by the Russians. They know what it is worth, to be a Russian satellite. Did Nikolic ever asked, why so many Russian journalists and members of the opposition were killed, or is it his way to do the same with oppositional "traitors"?
The message being channeled is that, "we preserve pride and freedom" but simultaneously you have this propaganda message being issued that says, "we do, but THEY don't, it's not our fault Serbia is in the mess that it is, it's THEIRS, you NEED to elect us so we can make your life better." Aggregating voters this way is not very healthy for a country. It was this type of nationalistic approach that messed up Serbia (breakup of YU). Serbian voters will be persuaded and fear mongered into voting a certain way but Serbs should really think about what's best...vote pro-country or pro-self; what will benefit me the best? I believe at the end of the day Serbs will put everything aside and vote what is most important to them. Serbs have to realize that without Kosova Serbia will be the same as it was. Because Kosova is independent is not the reason that Serbia is losing jobs, inflation, rise of crime, and other problems, the reason is of bad politicking. Serbs have to realize, Kosova has been and is still being used as political scapegoat to answer bad political decisions and political impotence. Come on now, is it really Kosova's fault that Serbia is/is not ______ ?
Nikolic, you hypocrite! You don't care where foreign investments come from, or what passport they hold? You can't stick yer fingers up at countries and then think the same ones will pour money into your country. And as for your Russian groupy, are you do dependent on mummy Russia that she needs to lead you by the hand to your demos! You can say what you like about Tadic but at least he can stand on his own!!!

Is he talking about the history of ethnic cleansing in Kosova by orchastrated by the Serbian state? Is he talking about how the Kosovar Albanian houses were set alight sistematically and forced the people of they home. There are plenty of video footages if the Ambassador wants to refresh is memory and not get so carried away with campaining for the Radicals. Now is time for the Serbian people to decide which path to take. Either West or East!

Pride and freedom ? Where is the economical development that can creates thousands of jobs ? What about stabilizing the country on the political level ? so finally the international community will stop thinking if there will be another war in the Balkans ? Pride and freedom.. Unfortunately, being good motivators and being able to stimulate anger and patriotism are not making them being able to lead the country, to develop the industry, to bring more capital.. Actually, with the SRS in the power, the investments would stop and the population will be better prepare herself for another hard 10 years with having problems buying milk and other products that are imported from other countries.. we are the 3 May of 2008, in today's world, the freedom of a people is protected by the human rights and the pride is something very individual.. the collective pride is when something is accomplished, and with people like Nikolic and Kostunica, nothing is accomplished .. so there is no national pride.. there is just a national anger against everything that is not Serbian. This is awful to see that a lot of people are not interested in having more investments in that country that so badly deserves a chance to rebuild itself and have a better life condition.. it doesn't always have to end up in a war. For once, Serbia has the chance to end it up in a massive increase of investments and high probably an important increase in the employment.. isn't it more important than a piece of land?
