Dear Mr. Lavrov,

Over the past months you have been very vocal and expressed your governments position on the Kosovo issue in many different forms.

It appears that your government is afraid of the International Laws and UN Conventions that you claim have been voilated and the fear that this may set a precedent for other regions.

Your concern for Serbia is expressed as a major concern for your own territorial and ethinc disputes, and it seems to also be the same stance of many countries that have not yet recognised Kosovo's Independence. It seems that you all fear the same thing, You fear that if you continue on repressing and treating non-russian people that one day the International Community will step in and say that enough is enough!

Instead of living in denial maybe a lesson could be learnt from all of this, try to start respecting the minority groups living within your borders and allow them to live in dignity. After all, thats what the real International Laws are really about, allowing others to live equally and to have their right to express themselves democratically.

Need you be reminded that you broke and violated more international laws than any other country when the Balkans war was at its peak, you failed to adhere to international legislation and the unanimous calls to put pressure on Serbia to stop its murderous and ethinic cleansing campaign, which it waged against all the non-serb peoples of the Balkans. Where was your adherance for the rule of international law and the respect of the Charter of the United Nations?

All said and done, treat this whole excersize as a lerning curve and start showing more respect for your non-russian citizens, after all they too have the right to live with dignity.

A lesson has been taught here and now you need to learn from it.

... and, stop trying to take advantage of the current turmoil in Serbia to pressure them into signing the energy project contract. Let them come to grips with what has happened first and show them a little repsect, also in future try to really show the serbs of kosovo that you really do care about them and stop sending them old and expired food rations from your government warehouse! Dont insult them as you have everyone else.

Luan,

USA - "DONATE"??!

I see you do not know what "agreement" is - donated is nothing! You would have to pay that donation for 100 years,at least.....if there was not Serbia to "save" you! However, you'll pay the "rest" to us - restoring our Monasteries all over SERB KOSOVO!!

-"hey have also nothing to eat, and yet spend everything they've got to buy weapons from the USA. "

You fail to realize one simple thing: the U.S. GAVE them weapons. DONATED the weapons. America didn't sell them and Kosova didn't buy them. Just like Russia donated the food and medicine to the Serbs, the U.S. donated the good ol weapons to the Albanians :)

It is really sad when you imagine an army of a such a small, poor & paranoid little county.
And they have also nothing to eat, and yet spend everything they've got to buy weapons from the USA.
That's probably why the USA recognized them

Why all this fear of a 2,500 strong army. It's nothing more than a fireman brigade.

I know that you want to fight farmers with AK47 like in 1999 but... where's the fun than ?
