don't be ridiculous we all know that the church was built by the illyrians, centuries before Christianity and the Slavs came.

I agree with Ahmet, this is a well documented fact. The old method of claiming a land is to build a church on it. See Noel Malcolm's book "Kosovo, a short history." The Serbs are famous for doing this and not just in Kosova.

A Serb historian once pointed this out, only to be ostracized by his colleagues at the Serb Academy of Sciences. This same Serb historian also wrote that the Illyrians were the first inhabitants of Europe and were the ancestors of the Albanians. This fact also appears in Webster's dictionary. Needless to say this same Serb historian was forced to change his position on his findings by the very same Serb Academy of "intellectuals."

Once the church is built ,in no time you will hear Serbs saying that this church was here since 6Th Century. Nothing new , as ussual propaganda.

Never understood the concept of a hunger strike. If someone intentionally stops eating and they are of sound mind, who cares? some cultures call it fasting and supermodels call it a way of life.
