MR X, how do you explain that more Serbs per capita left Kosovo during th NATO bombardment than Albanians?

The fact that no other presidents since 17th Feb have visited Kosovo should be worrying to the Albanians.

Mr. X

pre 16 godina

People who say that albanians fled the country (in 1999) because of NATO bombings are living in a different reality and different dimension in this earth.
If that was the case;
Why did Albanians welcome NATO troops with flowers if they were the ones who made them leave their homes?
Why did they embrace KLA?

The reality is that Serbian forces under Milosevic were the ones who made the albanians leave their homes.
That does not work nowadays in the modern world (especially in Europe). You cannot clense a country from its inhabitants and replace the population with your ethnicity.
Tadic was the first president who visited the new country of Kosova.
That act was out of desperation ... since he is loosing the votes in Serbia. But who cares, he visited the holy places and went back to its home country.
The next time he comes he will need a visa!

to Ataman, welcome to Oregon is not the same as welcome to `Republic of Kosovo`, to Jovan, it is true that Kosovo authority does`nt make the executive decisions regarding the serbian politicans visits, however come june 15th you will find that things will be different regarding your KOSOVO entries! as kosovo authorities will have the final say as to whome enters.

Jovan, in post 24, among other things you said, quote: “he certainly knows that those refugees were escaping from the fighting between the kla-thugs and the serbian security forces and of course the merciless NATO-bombing, that killed also innocent albanian civilians”.
I really don’t know where you have lived all these years!? You simply seem to be very biased and narrow minded. I and all the rest of kosovar refugees have experienced something that is totally different from what you seem to know about reality and latest history.
“ but I will always fight against this falsified version of "history"”, another quote by you in post no. 24. This sentence could better sound like: “but I (Jovan) will always fight to falsify history”.

Jovan - you bring up an excellent point. Only 42% of the Albanian public cast their votes in the province last December (?).

The majority are probably just honest people trying to make ends meet.

Cheers.

very simple, Gjoni. it´s just to remind you that you are being duped... since right now you are still much to obsessed with the horror-stories you´re being told by propaganda-writers like "kosovar"...

he certainly knows that those refugees were escaping from the fighting between the kla-thugs and the serbian security forces and of course the merciless NATO-bombing, that killed also innocent albanian civilians.

but that doesn´t matter to guys like "kosovar", since he is not arguing for "life" but more for his ideology of a greater Albania. and of course the best way to promote it, as he seems to be thinking, is to present the Serbs as the evil-doers and the Albanians as the victims.

but I will always fight against this falsified version of "history"

the word has seen a bombing of a sovereign european country, yes! and the refugees started escaping, also true. but they did so, AFTER the bombing started... and there are even albanian witnesses who say that they have been forced to leave their villages by kla-thugs in order to make it look like they were driven out by the Serbs. and we all know why the kla-criminals did that, and afterwards burnt albanian property, ... just to make you hate the Serbs...

that´s the truth, and you will realize it some day.

what "kosovar" has to say is not relevant, and I think that those Albanians who are now talking of "hell will break loose" and "only war will bring us under serbian rule" ..are simple cowards with a big mouth.

real hero´s stand up against the criminals; that means those Albanians who were killed by kla-terrorist, because they openly resisted the ideology of those chicken-thieves ...are hero´s in my eyes.

but guys like "kosovar" do not mention those Albanians... strange, isn´t it?

once again, Kosovo is Serbia, there´s no doubt about it.

you have to be confronted with that on and on, just in order not to forget it.

everything else will come by itself. let´s just see what future brings...

I am glad the Serbs can sleep calmly knowing that Kosova is Serbia. Jovan I told you this would happen. One thing I can't comprehend is that you don't see Albanians from Albania infinitely repeating and saying, Laberia is Albania. They don't need to. I wonder why the need to infinitely repeat Kosova is Serbia when you are absolutely sure that that is the case. I mean if that is the case you don't need to convince anyone, so why even bother wasting your breath for something you are so convinced is just pure and simple reality. Doesn't make sense.

Kosovar

pre 16 godina

No Jovan, you are the one spreading propaganda, not me. Remember, Serbias attempt to completely empty Kosovo of Albanians did not happen 900 years ago, BUT ONLY 9 YEARS AGO.

This is why we are here today and this is why 100% of Kosovar Albanians would rather go to war again than live under Serbian rule.

It does not have to do with politics or terrorism. It is simply a matter of life or death. You showed to us in 1999 that Serbia means death to us. And these are real arguments, not propaganda. It all happened. Mass graves and over 1 million expelled Kosovars were REAL. And I will do everything in my power, just like any other Kosovar, not to bring my life and the life of my family under such a danger again. Serbian rule over Kosovo means death to me and my family. And again, this is not imagination, this is what I personally saw and whitnesed, just like the whole world, in 1999.

This Taci is amusing. We have him constantly saying how
independent and sovereign Kosovo is.Well if you need to point to people and it is not evident it usually means that the opposite is true.It is the same thing as America always saying land of the free home of the brave. This constant repetition is a common practice in propaganda by repeating these phrases they think it will give them credability and meaning what a joke.If they were so independent would they need to take direction from the UN and NATO.It is saying well we did not want to let Tadic in but they said we have to.It just shows how powerless Taci and companyreally are they are purely symbolic.Taci is thinking well if we have to let him in lets pretend that by him visiting Kosovo he is acknowledging that Kosovo is indeed a seperate country from Srbija and we will sell it to our people in this light rather than having them see UN and NATO really run the show and not us.Pathetic.

Another theatrical stunt by Tadic before election, to present himself as a Serbian patriot, and at the same time to show that 'Kosova' is ('whether we like it or not')a tolerant and civilized 'country'.
When he's at it, he could ask the local 'Harambasa' a.k.a. the'Prime Minister' to whom did he sell those organs extracted from those murdered young Serbs.

no "Kosovar"... I don´t know whether you are deliberately writing this or simply being clueless... but,

Serbia wants a southern province without terrorists and criminals! and ...as far as I am concerned, there are oly a few thousand of that kind in Serbia´s southern province...

all the other decent K-albanians know very well that this is only a transitional period before Serbia reintegrates Kosovo again.

that´s why many Albanians have already got their serbian documents.

but, if you want to go on spreading that stupid propaganda about Serbia wishing the Albanians in Kosovo away, ...just do it, the majority of readers here knows it better.

"Actually not."

Actually yes. I repeat, the same system that secures Tadic's peace during his pilgrimage, that same system guarantees Kosovo's independence.

It is easy to see this as provocation, and it was most probably designed as a provocation. The important fact remains that there is peace, that Serb soldiers are not now and will not in the future ever again kill Albanian civilians. That is the important fact. The rest is secondary and we will sort things out with time.

Many forget that Kosovo is now, according to the Ahtisari plan, in the transitional period, where UNMIK has still the say on many things. After June 15, when Kosovo Constitution enters into power, Tadic & Co. will have to ask Kosovo Authorities for a permission to visit Kosovo.

After all, for me as a Kosovar its far better being a puppet state than living under Serbian rule :). And yes, do not worry about us or our sovereignity. It is a FALSE worry (as you like to say). At the end, we all know what Serbia thinks of us and what Serbias real goals are: Kosovo without Albanians.

albi

pre 16 godina

When Albanians finally decide to get rid of UNMIK, they will. There isn't a thing that anybody can do to prevent it. Maybe an atomic bomb, holocaust, but nothing else.

Albanians are wise to avoid confrontation. Life is precious, even that of Tadic.

After all, the same international system that guarantees Serbs' and Tadic's right to visit a monastery, also guarantees Kosovo's independence.

he certainly knows that those refugees were escaping from the fighting between the kla-thugs and the serbian security forces and of course the merciless NATO-bombing, that killed also innocent albanian civilians.

but that doesn´t matter to guys like "kosovar", since he is not arguing for "life" but more for his ideology of a greater Albania. and of course the best way to promote it, as he seems to be thinking, is to present the Serbs as the evil-doers and the Albanians as the victims.

but I will always fight against this falsified version of "history"

the word has seen a bombing of a sovereign european country, yes! and the refugees started escaping, also true. but they did so, AFTER the bombing started... and there are even albanian witnesses who say that they have been forced to leave their villages by kla-thugs in order to make it look like they were driven out by the Serbs. and we all know why the kla-criminals did that, and afterwards burnt albanian property, ... just to make you hate the Serbs...

that´s the truth, and you will realize it some day.

what "kosovar" has to say is not relevant, and I think that those Albanians who are now talking of "hell will break loose" and "only war will bring us under serbian rule" ..are simple cowards with a big mouth.

real hero´s stand up against the criminals; that means those Albanians who were killed by kla-terrorist, because they openly resisted the ideology of those chicken-thieves ...are hero´s in my eyes.

but guys like "kosovar" do not mention those Albanians... strange, isn´t it?

once again, Kosovo is Serbia, there´s no doubt about it.

you have to be confronted with that on and on, just in order not to forget it.

everything else will come by itself. let´s just see what future brings...

Jovan - you bring up an excellent point. Only 42% of the Albanian public cast their votes in the province last December (?).

The majority are probably just honest people trying to make ends meet.

Cheers.

??? It took you a while but you managed nicely (for the time being). Croats did it to.

MR X, how do you explain that more Serbs per capita left Kosovo during th NATO bombardment than Albanians?

The fact that no other presidents since 17th Feb have visited Kosovo should be worrying to the Albanians.
