An European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR) representative says the European Union has invested over EUR 1.3bn in Serbia over the past seven years.

The above posts citing the truth about the investment are all good examples of how the EU is addicted to lying to Serbs and Serbia and the Dispora. It seems as though they think Serbs and Serbia cannot see their blatant lies, misrepresentation, and betrayal.
Another fact is that the EU and NATO are practically indistinguishable. NATO damage cost estimates are 20 billion. Solano and his friends that recognize Kosovo can say what they want. We remember.

So what's the big deal/
RF alone has invested approx 1 Billion USD in Armenia alone in only one year...
Money wants and needs investments, and with about 1.5 Trillion with China and about 600 Billion with RF in Intl. Reserves, Serbia has to invite and money will come in droves...!
EU invests its scarce resources, Serbia doesn't need money like a beggar...!
Even Africa has understood that!

One wonders how much they spent in their 78 Day bombardment and needless to say the actual cost of that illegal destruction! This is their guilt money and it is peanuts compared to teh havoc they wreacked!!!

The Greek chamber of commerce announced recently that there would be making 2 billion Euros investments in Serbia .I would love to see
Greece to invest in friendly
countries such as Serbia and hepl to tie the bond between the Greeks and Serbs.It's also worth mentioning that despite Bush's objections Greece is one of the main contibutors to south stream and Burgas-Alexandroupolis energy projects with the active participation of our friends in Russia.For business to flourish we need
stability in the area and friendly relations.This is what Greece is trying to achieve with the help of other nations.

Remember that Serbia pays about that much in interest for the debt of Kosovo province so it is just being recycled under the disguise of "EU Investment". Just a marketing trick as far as I'm concerned.

really? well not really. the eu invested 5.3 billion in serbia. 4 bill in kosovo, and only 1.3 bill in the rest of the country. btw i feel like pulling these types illegally meddling in our election campaing out of the country by their EAR :))

How much of this went to western 'consultants'?
As for EU structural funds, the EC Court of Auditors said that up to 40% of funds were not spent, spend on projects that the money was not ear-marked or were impossible to trace on what they were spent on.
For the last 13 years, the Court of Auditors have not signed off on a single EU budget.
Do Serbian tax payers want to join an organization that takes money, but cannot account for it?
To be fair, the funding/transparency discrepancies stem mainly from member states who control their contributions to such projects...
