Number of expat voters grows by 40 pct

The number of Serbian voters registered abroad has reached 52,000 for the forthcoming parliamentary elections due on May 11.

It's a fair bet that the majority of these votes will go to either the DSS or SRS and might well scupper the (as we are told) 'pro-west' parties.

These expat voters certainly know that the streets aren't paved with gold as some Serbian politicians like to paint the benefits of joining the EU...
