Instead of using Kosovo for idle internal political quarrels, I hope official Serbia will give more proofs against Haradinaj so that the Prosecutor in the Hague could restart the process against him. I hope I will soon read the news that Haradinaj has been sentenced to 30 year in jail. I further hope that Serbian Secret Services will open files and give them to the Hague and demonstrate that Allbrights and Hollbrooke's "sons" were a terrorist organisation that had managed to promote themselves as "fighters for freedom." I also hope Serbia will find Mladic even if American administration does not want him to go to the Hague. I am sure he is on american territory protected by their immunity. Only serious work can elevate Serbia to respond with pride to the parrots giving press realases in Washington and Brussels. It is the high time to start working on serious issues in order to have positive results.
The US constitution is allowing the Mexican drugs maffia to get powerful guns to run the place (hereby unwillingly undermining the Mexican territorial integrity because the Mexican government kind of lost control) and then the Mexican drugs are destroying American youngsters, families, communities and eventually the country. It is all so very ironic and a deja vu comes to my mind. The US and the EU supported the Kosovo drugs maffia with arms to create a smuggling safe haven and those drugs will destroy so many lives in Europe. Upholding an outdated constitution seems more important (also for $$$) than imposing stricter rules that could save many lives. In this respect the US seems to me more like a banana republic and so any comment on Serbian elections in Kosovo can be ignored and the silly person making these comments should be petted on the head and told that silly little boys should keep their mouths shut. Unfortunately Hillary Clinton still has a chance and that means that Richard Holbrooke could become the next Secretary of State (and so another four to eight years of anti-Serbian hate policies will be ahead). Serbia will eventually survive it all, but Europe should finally reverse things and choose for European stability and fairness.
“We expect the Serbian government to limit its electoral activities to Serbia.” No problem; that is exactly what the Serbian government is doing by staging elections in its southern province. Pretending Kosovo is independent is not going to make it so.
I really don't understand what the big deal is whether they vote or don't vote in a serbian election. After all if someone is not happy with the results they just dissolve the govt and call new elections. What a joke.
