Olli, you can accuse me of bias, but I don’t know how you are able to judge my intent or what it has to do with ethics. It is a historical fact that the “revolutions” of the last 15 years in places like the Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia, Kergizia … , popular or not, were stage managed by US intelligence through the likes of Soroz and various NGO’s. This is not surprising, all revolutions have external influences – did Lenin not bring German money with him on that train to Petrograd? What is of issue; is to what extent those who took the foreign money allowed themselves to be influenced by their benefactors once in power. In my view, Djindjic and the DS have made the interests of Serbia secondary to the interests of their American handlers. Whether it was for money or out of political naiveté, they collaborated with those who have partitioned, ethnically cleansed, and economically exploited Serbia. That is my interpretation of resent Serbian history, you are free to disagree, but given enough time, it is history that will be the final judge.

Sergei,

Honestly, your view of blaming Djindjic for the state of things in Serbia is an intentionally biased version of truth and stands as a document for prevailing lack of ethics.
Although you might not be Serbian you make me very very sad when thinking about the chances of Serbia one day to recover from its wounds.
There are great and honourable Serbs with a vision and ethics. Try once to lend your support to them. Those people dare and have dared to risk their own lives - but not the lives of others - for Serbia. I don't say that I ask for dying for your people, but living for them.

You might know how much it takes to fight corruption and lies even in your closest environment, like at your work place. If you don't do that fight try at least to support them who do.

Well, I admit, again and again I forget how the word "arrogance" in the Balkans is understood as "proudness", or "honour". As it seems to stand in SRS vocabulary, too.

Duro,

I am not shocked at all.
After all these years of wars , intimidation, isolation, Serbian electorate is confused, fatigue and half hearted. Kostunica is a middle line that reconciles conservative nationalists and democrats streams in Serbian politics and that is what he was doing ever since. We got to admit Serbians are in majority conservative and nationalists, no more than British, Dutch, Germans or Belarus.
Great pity that the biggest benefit of Kostunica past deeds will be cash up by Radicals in May elections.

Olli, I am only shocked as to why Kostunica's DSS party is not the most popular party, since they have done the most in protecting our integrity and honor.

Maybe, Olli, it is because the Serbs have finally been forced to face where the policies of Djindjic and his crowd have taken them. History will not remember him.

In case of a landslide victory to SRS, if it was just a question of SRS forming government (alone or with DSS) and starting "SRS-rule" in political circles I say it might be healthy for Serbian nation to see what their choice would bring about. But as that choice would also mean that SRS people and attitude conquer state organizations and institutions I certainly can't recommend voting for SRS.
Personally I would never vote for SRS, the party whose leader Seselj rejoyed of the murder of Djindjic. I'm in continuous shock that this fact seems not to bother most Serbs.

Much is spoken of the integrity of Serbia. That is achievable only by and thru Serbian people, individuals. But without ethics they are without the means.
