"Not a single word of theirs can be trusted. In fact, they can be trusted precisely as much as their friend Solana who bombed Serbia, who armed Haradinaj and Thaci"

OMG! Who is this guy?? Just when you thought the rhetoric couldn't get any worse.

I might add this to my favourite quotes on Facebook.

Mark, how can Serbia be heading into isolation when most of the world supports Serbia?
Only a handful of countries have gone against Serbia and recognized independent Kosovo.
Serbia might be isolating herself from her enemies at the moment, but even that is temporary for they will not always be enemies.

So please explain to us all how you see Serbia isolating herself from the world when most of the world has sided with Serbia and rejected independent Kosovo?

It's unfortunately true that, with the help of DSS/NS/SRS, Serbia is drifting into isolation,

As for independent Kosovo, the figures speak for themselves:

In the two months that have passed since Kosovo issued its declaration of independence

-- Kosovo has been recognized by two thirds of the 27 EU member states, half of the 56 OSCE member countries, and three of the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council

-- countries that have formally recognized Kosovo now account for 70% of the world's total GDP (gross domestic product).

That's isolation? Don't kid yourself.

Even if Velimir Ilic and some others often have trouble grasping this, it remains a fact:

Rhetoric does not have the power to alter reality. You cannot make it so just by saying so. Not even if you call upon the devil.

Serbs drifting into ultranationalist isolation???

unnecessary to mention who in fact is isolated with only 38 states recognizing the puppet-entity on serbian soil, many of whom are just vassal´s to some few bigger actors...

no, Mark, you seem to be quite eager to write negatively about Mr.Ilic´s statement, that´s all.

as for the article: I am very glad to see the Tadic-Dinkic-whatsoever-vassal´s losing grip on Serbia.

their intimidation-tactic doesn´t work anymore.

Serbia will rise again. and that is good.

Koštunica's adviser Branislav Ristivojević is very well informed. The actions of the DS is nothing more than to weaken the grip Serbia has on Kosovo. By not paying Kosovo's debt and signing the SAA have legal consequences that benefit the independence movement.

So what the DS is attempting to say is that we can sign the SAA and then try to convince Solana to reverse his decision on Kosovo's independence. And then they'll come back and say we didn't succeed but at least we tried. That's as far as it will go.

So do you think the Islamic world should just invite the US and NATO to come and take their land? To sign any agreement they have to offer? You think they are extreme but bombing Iraq and killing 1 million people is somehow not extreme.

When huge injustices occur in this world, people do tend to change. So who do you think are the real evil ones?

I agree with #2 bganon; the Serbs are drifting closer and closer into violent ultranationalist isolation which will cause more death of innocents and destabilize Serbia. This rhetoric sounds not only like Milosevic but also like the Islamic jihadists which plan to destroy the West; something these Radicals appear to try to be doing.

This is what the Serbs have in common with the Islamic nations they were visiting, trying to prevent the Middle East from recognizing Kosova's independence. Seems Serbs and Muslims are truly alike after all!

Sounds like the sort of propaganda from Islamic Jihad.

Perhaps we could form an axis of good to smite evil forces of this world forever.

Wow this is getting just a little bit creepy and extreme.

the most important one is that Serbia should recognize Kosovo -

Indeed the sayings of the devil incarnate himself...

Serbians should throw fire and brimstone at them, who say that!
