The RS got its Serb majority population because many of its members were ethnically cleansed from the Muslim-Croat Federation during the war, while the Muslims and Croats went to their strongholds.

The overall population of Muslims in Bosnia is the same percentage or greater than before the war, which shows a land swap.

As for rape camps - it was the Serbian women who first send documented evidence of 800 Serbian women raped in the fall 1992 to the UN Security council.

Previous to this the Muslims never said anything about rape camps nor had documentation.

Suddenly after the UN got the Serbian women reports, the Muslims and international community started claiming the Serbs had rape camps of women.

These alleged camps were never discovered by the UN. There are no reports of any Bosnian women being rescued by the UN in these camps, nor has there ever been any DNA evidence or paternity evidence brought forward for the rape camp propaganda on the Muslims side.

Sarajevo, which is now in the Muslim-Croat section is 99% Muslim.

Before the war Sarajevo was about half Muslim and 38% Serb.

Now after the war Sarajevo is 99% Muslim and the population is LARGER than before the war.

Most of the Bosnian Croats were cleansed from central Bosnia by the Muslims in late 1992 until early 1994 in the Croat-Muslim war.

As for Kosovo, you have the permanent ethnic cleansing and displacement of 300,000 Serbs, Roma and non-Albanians and the systematic destruction of the churches, monasteries, Serbian cemeteries, and confiscation of the homes under so-called "peace" and under the eyes of the international community and its forces.

RS was set up as a safe place for Serbs in Bosnia (many refugees). They were not safe under a Muslim/Croat government and wouldn't be free from oppression or have an equivalent amount of safety as the Muslim and Croats under their government. The Muslims and Croats know how to deny jobs for Serbs, know how to be biased in their courts, know how to threaten them (or worse), purposely keep their homes and farms in wreckage - if not used by a Muslim family, have a fit about Serbian culture - such as Cyrillic writing, etc. The Muslims initiated the war attacking Sarajevo Serb civilians.

And about those refugees you worked with - you haven't mentioned any rape babies at all, nor have you mentioned any scars which are signs of torture on the women.

There also was no increase in the birthrate during the war such as you would expect for the Muslim grossly exaggerated propaganda of all the women raped, made pregnant and not allowed to abort.

It's been shown that the Muslims lied about the number of civilians killed and that most of the deaths in the Bosnian war were military.

As well most of the deaths were adult men - 89% of the dead were adult men.

This wouldn't count teen soldiers, even though Croats, Muslims and Serbs were recruited at 16, and many joined earlier.

I would like to raise one issue related to many of the posts. By raising this issue I am not arguing for or against independence but I feel the point must nevertheless be raised. There is a difference between the independence of Bosnia and that of Kosovo.

How did Republika Srpska get its 95%+ Serb population? Is it something to do with the disproportionate amount of civilians deaths on the Bosnian muslim side (around 66%)?

Is it related to the rape camps set up in territory later to be come Republika Srpska where tens of thousands of non-serb women were raped?

Is it something to do with the destruction of islamic and catholic religious buildings? Take Banja Luka capital of Republika Srpska. 85% of the mosques and catholic churches in the city are no longer useable.

The 90%+ of non-Serbs in Kosovo are not due to the rape of tens of thousands of serb women, the indescriminate killing of civilians, the destruction of orthodox churches.

Please don't say that Bosnia and Kosovo are similar situations. Separation based on the free will of the majority is one thing but separation based on murder, rape, "cleansing" and cultroside is another.

Like I said, I am not arguing for separation nor against it. But me and my Serb brothers must realize that the two cases are not the same.
