It is interesting, that if price offered for NIS by Russia is as low as Canak said. Why there is no contra offer from Shell, BP, Mobil or other big western company?

It is not important, that there is no biding. BP or other western company can write a document offering five times more then Gazprom and better investment prospects. Why something like that didn't happen?

Many people in Russia are not happy for Gasprom to make 5 bln annual gas gifts to the Ukraine while missing a chance to help Serbia. But if we have a closer look we can find out we can find out that presidents Tadic, Yushenko, Saakashvili ect. receive instructions from the same place. Sure Tadic is not Rusofob like the other two but still ...

After the elections in Serbia when the state power in Russia is divided Serbia may gain a vast economic support from Russia. But before that Russia should be certain that it have a friendly partnter in Serbia. The situation is quite unique for the Serbs ! Russia is afraid using the obtained money inside the country. The inflation is already 12% annual. So there's a solution to start using the money abroad instead of keeping them in the risky American deposits.

Thus it's a matter of 3-4 weeks that Russia is supposed to reveal it's plans of economic aid to Serbia with no preliminary political terms put. Russia can provide Serbia with the investmants even without using state funds. If only Putin hints to the big companies that they should find investments projects in Serbia you will have a Dutch Disease when the economy just cannot swallow the money available.

Serbian Dinars and property will go to Gazprom. They are playing the same game with Serbia which they did with Belarus.

maybe Kostunica & Co. are already on their payroll ? in fact the price for Gazprom is much lower than for an bancrupt copper company or a mobile net. what a strange deal ...

My family is from Banat and we love Vojvodina, and that is why we can not stand this Canak. Canak would put barriers between us and the rest of the Serbian people, and then make speaches about patriotism.
Mr. Canak feels that the real patriots are politicians, but he is unaware of the patriotic fire that burns in the souls of the Serbs who will not leave Kosovo. As much as Kosovo has defined our nation- This generation of Kosovo Serbs define our patriotism.

If the rest of Serbs are to be patriotic, even just a little bit, they must be certain that they do not abandon the Kosovo Serbs, Visoki Decani and Gracanica for a EU carrot.

Strange that Canak should mention the state being respected when all that the US & its war hounds in the EU do nothing but disrespect Serbia's sovereignity. Strangely other states are respected by the likes of Solano (EU Foreign Minister);

"EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana was said to be "concerned" by what were described as "these unilateral decisions".

"We have always supported Georgia's territorial integrity," his spokeswoman Christina Gallach said.

Canak should first approach solano and obtain the same respect that he sjows to Georgia and which Russia shows to Serbia!

"Russian veto against Kosovo"
Serbia need to pay the price.
The fact is that, once Russian get what they want, and Serbia can't please them anymore... then they are going to tell serbians this all what we can do, you are on your own now.

The price is very low everybody knows..
But the helping hand of Russia is not costless...
Anyway i think that Serbia needs a lot of Russian investments so..
Give this present to the Kremlin and hope that will bring some petro-rubli in Beograd.
