Members of his organization, were able to gain access to the places Serbs were held in Kosovo and talk to them. There were still some Serbs alive in concentration camps in Kosovo in March 2000. There were likely some in Albania at that time too.
He also stated that the prisoners started to be treated better and speculated that it was because they were going to be used as exchanges for the Albanian prisoners in Serbia. However, they never were exchanged and Kostunica released all the Albanian prisoners en masse in 2001.
The camps for kidnapped Serbs existed at least from June-March 2000, and with the Serbs still alive in 2000, their organs, if they were used that way, would be for that year.
