The government has decided in a session in Belgrade today that local elections will be held in Kosovo despite UNMIK's opposition.

How? Elementary my dear ernie ..... they just hold the elections ..... UNMIK has already declared that it will neither support nor hinder the process.

One thing they have forgotten is that Mirtrovica was promised to the Americans by President Rugova in the 80s and they will not give that up to the Serb.
