I never usually post comments but the continuing stance of Mr Kostunica has goaded me into doing so.

I am Serb and proud of it BUT I realise that Kosovo is gone (for now). As a nation we have suffered terribly over the past 20 years and I am tired of the suffering and isolation - I just want a 'normal' life where I can worry about 'normal' things.

Lets sign the SAA and push forward to become a full member of the EU. Focusing on the positive is the only way forward.

Just wake up and smell the coffee Mr Kostunica. Your stance (which comes far too late in the day) will just lead to more isolation and suffering.

Kostunica should have been tougher long time ago but it is better late than never.
Rehn, obviously has nothing but contempt for Serbia when he arrogantly and blatantly offers a deal to one of the Serbian parties to influence an election which is only a few weeks away.
European functionaries permit themselves, when it comes to Serbia, an intollerable language which reminds one of the colonial masters.
For this one has to blame our toadying politicians who have never missed an opportunity to debase themselves.

Kostunica will be remembered:

a) the Serbian PM who could not avoid the UDI of Kosovo (although it was announced for months while he did nothing on EU level - for instance)

b) the Serbian PM who decided to blow up the government of Serbia just one month after the UDI of Kosovo

c) the Serbian PM who was not able to fullfil conditions of Serbia for to sign the SAA

he should have solved the "utmost question of Serbia" when he was given the mandate for that!

Vojo,

Please stop wasting everybody’s time.
Either sign it or don’t (if offered to you).
You have already made you views clear and everybody knows that by now.
Please stop talking about it every 5 minutes just for the sake of argument.
You have become like a spoiled child --
“I will eat my greens only if they are painted red and I want to have in writing that the peas in my plate belong to broccoli next to it. Otherwise I will not eat my greens”.
Do you actually believe that EU will be much better-off or much worst-off if you do/don’t sign?
