"and yes, i was a member of otpor"

So, roberto, you were a member of the CIA-backed stooges to bring in the puppet government. A government which has led to the impoverishment of Serbia - Serbia is poorer and has far more unemployed than it did even under sanctions.

A person who doesn't even live in Serbia anymore (you say you are from frisco) so you aren't staying in the bed you made.

What right had you to bring in a government to a place you don't even live?

Further the government stopped or slowed all the tremendous rebuilding done under the Milosevic government - rebuilding dozens of NATO destroyed bridges, heating plants, schools, Zastava factory, apartments, roads, hospitals, etc.

And what did Serbia get for turning in Milosevic?

Serbs were promised and expected a lot, but still Serbia's enemies were not satisfied. Serbia didn't become rich off of sending Milosevic to the kangaroo court, nor did the hate for Serbs abate in the west.

It does Serbia no good to turn its people over to a kangaroo, NATO country established court. None of the NATO countries is being tried for their killings of civilians, destruction of 10s of billions of infrastructure, violation of its own charter, etc.

The Bosnian and Kosovo war both killed far fewer people than the claims were during the war. The dead are mostly military and militants, not civilians.

The number of civilian deaths is lower "collateral damage" than for wars occurring elsewhere in the world. And the initiators of the war was western-backed separatists.

Since i have been reading b92 on the web, sometime in 1999, i have been reading excuses relating to not turning over mladic and karadzic. at that time, slobo was still in power and the question was moot. then finally we ousted him (finally... and yes, i was a member of otpor) and djindjic pushed a forward-thinking, pragmatic approach. i imagine at some point he would have turned those 2 evil men over to the hague, but we all know what happened to him, and who was responsible, and i don't just mean those men in jail for the crime, enough said. and on and on and on. each time i would visit the balakns: what about mladic/karadzic? when, when, when? and then all the weird games w del ponte, assuring us that it was happening... in one or 2 days, the latest... am i making this up, any of it? of course not.

so there were 100,000 excuses. now it is a court decision the nationalists don't like, or the repeated rumors in del-ponte's upcoming tell-all best-seller (?) what will be the excuse in 5 more years, i am just wondering...

During the talks, he also raised the issue of the trade in organs of kidnapped Serbs in Kosovo.-
Lets discuss that before discussing anything else!

Ljajic should have warned Brammertz that releasing Harandji has made closing the net on any Serbs that much harder. The government may be willing but people will not co-operate with an institution that they see as racist and biased against the Serbs. The tribunal has only itself to blame for it's loss of credability. I read the article published in Politika the other day and the statistics if correct raise questions about the impartiality of the tribunal. Ljajic may have grounds for calling for an independent inquiry into the tribunal.

The election results are very clear, after reading Brammertz's statements in this article. The Serbs need not vote because the EU has already negated their path to the EU via the SAA. I personally don't believe that the lack of capturing Mladic and Karadzic have any bearing on joining the EU. The plain facts are that the EU detests Serbia as a future member and that Mladic and company are only a smoke screen to this fact. I wish Serbia would focus their efforts on rebuilding their society with supporting international UN members and not spend anymore wasted time on the empty promises of EU integration.
Serbia must close the door on the Hague Tribunal because there is no conclusion and support of Serbian attrocities in sight.

Evidently this is the worst time for the Trubunal to remind the Serbs of it's existance ... Why the hell is he coming then ?! Why does the West always acting as a consolidated force is sending Brammertz to Tadic sitting on a powder barrel !

Some folks in Russia are sure that the main goal is to let Tadic demonstrate his patriotism by refusing to give up few people that he cannot catch in any case.
