i have to say that whatever my feelings about del ponte (and they are HIghly negative), sudetic has been considered a respectable journalist (unlike many other so-called experts pushed in these pages)so i cannot dismiss him out-of-hand. but there is no sense here, if these people held out any validity to such horrendous rumors, why was nothing made public until NOW?? because of fear of the "albanian mafia?!" are these folks for real? with all of the nasty forces the prosecution was up against, they would remain silent, terrified of the albanian mafia?? give me a break! am i wrong, am i lying to say that del ponte supposedly made her reputation taking on the MAFIA? hello... and all of those trips thru serbia, with how many bullets with del ponte's name on them? and what about now, if the albanian mafia is so ominous and terrifying, how could they possibly come out with these accusations now?

something is very wrong here...

“There were credible reports of the kidnapping of between 100 and 300 Serbs"

What credible reports? If their so credible then where are the facts.

"Perhaps now, thanks to this book, some witnesses will come forward"

Daubtful.. since this never took place.

One former diplomat told me he had heard about it [KLA organ trafficking], but that there were difficulties in proving that the crime took place"

What was the former diplomats name? And like i said before, you cant prove somthing thats never happend.

Facts first please.

Words you attribute to Sudetic: the Tribunal covered the crimes committed until the arrival of NATO troops in Kosovo in 1999, and “it looks as if these events occurred after their arrival.”

And here's what you can read on ICTY web page self-description:

The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was established by Security Council resolution 827. This resolution was passed on 25 May 1993 in the face of the serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991, and as a response to the threat to international peace and security posed by those serious violations.

It appears that if he said what you attribute to him, Sudetic ought to check his English dictionary for the word: "since".
