CoE wants Belgrade to confirm EU orientation

President of the CoE’s Committee of Ministers Jan Kubiš has expressed his hope that Belgrade’s pro-EU orientation will be confirmed at the coming elections.

As long as his organisation accepts that the UDI is a temporary measure until the autonomous governance discussed in 1244 is in place, there should not be a problem.

If they do not accept it, then the EU will have to go on the back-burner while Serbia re-establishes its legal rights over its province.

The EU is better as a negotiation body than as an instrument of force - and it should seek to behave that way.

I thought it was obvious that all political parties are in favour of the EU!

As soon as Brussels confirms Serbia's borders with Kosovo as constituent and inalienable then we can move forward.

This little problem was not caused by Serbia but by the US and some EU countries illegally recognising this NATO puppet entity.

Their plan will not succeed and the will of the Serbian people is strong! This will become obvious come election time.
