Ben:
> To the Serbian from Australia: I know perhaps much better than you who was Falcone and Borsellino (that you didn’t mentioned). So pls give me a break.

Truly? Based on what? Is readily apparent that your knowledge of organised crime is fatally flawed.

> The criminality is a big problem in Kosova- that’s for sure.

> In Serbia even bigger- you hade your Prime Minister Dindic shot dead by you MAFIA.

Try asking Interpol, Europol & just about all major national police organisations in Europe who they are most concerned about.

It's not the italian mafia - their influence is waning...
And it's not the serbian mafia - their influence is localised in the balkans...
Hint.. begins with an A.

> Before lecturing us tale to Dindic familly that Serbia has no mafia and you don't have any problems with the mafia.

> Hypocrits.

Funny.. do not recall saying that there was no mafia problem in Serbia. Suggest you look up the meaning of the word 'hypocrite'.

Do recall suggesting that percentage of so-called 'republic of Kosovo's GDP that came from mafia activities was significantly greater than is the case with Italy.

Statement is self-evident given 'pseudo-state's origins, the KLA's ties with the albanian mafia & the basket-case that is the economy there.

And comparing the serbian mafia to the albanian mafia is like comparing a baby octopus to a giant squid.

> Kosova is between the narcotic producers and narcotic consumers.

> Neither produces drugs and neither consumes.

Is something you left out 'Ben'. Albanian mafia dominates the trafficking of hard drugs into Europe.

Controls something like 80% of the heroin traffic for instance, not to mention people smuggling et al.

Also when you were writing about 'who borders Kosovo', you seem to have left out Albania. Dear oh dear..

Hypocrisy? Racism?

Attacking the messenger again 'Ben'?

Here again is what Mini says about Kosovo & criminality:

> Therefore, I sincerely doubt that the sending of 2,000 police and judges to Kosovo will help, when we know that the UN has been sending police and judges for eight years already and yet has failed to achieve anything

> The forces in the field, the police and KFOR, have shown that they are impotent in the face of sudden outbreaks of violence," the Italian general said, pointing out that there are so-called families that rule Kosovo, "controlling everything - from politics, economy, to crime.

And here is what Amnesty International says in its latest report about the subject:

http://www.amnesty.org/en/library/asset/EUR70/001/2008/en/EUR700012008en.html

And here is a wikipedia article on the Albanian Mafia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albanian_mafia

In closing. you said:

> In all your postings dear Serbs there is never a rational reckoning only hate toward Albanians that you killed and mistreated for years. And you still prettend that Kosova should remain under Serbia.

> Why it should? to live with the people that hate them?

> After the declaration of indpendence the Kosovar Gov.t should start building a Chinese wall with Serbia.

I personally do not hate K-albanians, nor albanians in general, nor even people who like to spread the sort of propaganda we see above.

What I do hate is the injustice that is displayed towards serbs by various sections of the west, as well as the propaganda that perpetuates those injustices.

The message.. not the messenger.

I'm absolutely mortified that he has actually said this. OK its in vECERNJE Novosti not il Globo or something so it doesn't carry the same influence with italian readers. Thank you General but you really should be concerned for your safety now from various avenues. It is essential that more people who have been involved with KFOR/IC/UNMIK in Kosovo in the last 8 years come out like this. I fail to believe that so many people can be blind or just plain corrupt. I understand those working in Kosovo can be (especially afraid) but those whose tenure is over, speak-up. This 'Kosova' farce will run out of money or run out of lies to tell. Also a favour for my sake can the ethnic K-Albanians on this site please display their real names. Ben's and Johny's we can see right through it. Its child's play.

To Serbian Mini's:

The criminality is a big problem in Kosova- that’s for sure.

In Serbia even bigger- you hade your Prime Minister Dindic shot dead by you MAFIA.

Kosova is between the narcotic producers and narcotic consumers.

Neither produces drugs and neither consumes.

If you watch the map and reckon rationally you wouldn't make such a silly comments as Mini.

Kosova borders in North and North-East with Serbia. In South and South-East with Macedonia.

Further in East there is Bulgaria (member of EU and NATO).

Further more into East- Turkey (member of NATO).

As you can see my dear racists the drugs goes through two NATO member countries (so Mini blame you colleagues firstly) and one EU country (again Mini you have to point finger to someone else- your partners- before Kosova).

After those two coutres the heroin comes to Serbia. Here you go my dear Serbs- you are part of the chain too- don't pretend that you don't know who drives the expensive cars in Belgrade honest businessman’s ye?? ;))

And Macedonia de facto a NATO country - ok Mr Mini????

To the Serbian from Australia: I know perhaps much better than you who was Falcone and Borsellino (that you didn’t mentioned). So pls give me a break.

Before lecturing us tale to Dindic familly that Serbia has no mafia and you don't have any problems with the mafia.

Hypocrits.

Regardless of Mr. Mini's political bacground once he he was appointed as chief of KFOR it is likely he had to be respected proffesional. There is nothing in his oppinion looking rasist. In newspapers is deep silence about character of Albanian government in Kosovo, one could get the feeling this government is democratic, pecefull, on the other hand anyone just a little bit informed about Kosovo knows the problem of clans and mafia and cleansing of Serbs from Kosovo but anyone is silent about it and it looks like Serbs are the only Kosovo's problem. In this lack of objectivness the words of Mr. Mini are very cordial.

Curious that whenever an 'international' comes out with anything negative about K-albanians, their propaganda department goes into overdrive.

Also curious that they usually ignore the message and go after the messenger with all sorts of personal attacks.

Other recent cases are Gerard Galluci & del Ponte.

Ben,

"Mini is utterly anti-Albanian.

He never said a word about the sufferings of the K-Albanians."

Albanians are anti-Serb. They never said a word about the sufferings of the K-Serbs. So what's your point then???

Mr X,

"Now why on earth would albanians want to do that? Kosova is independent and there is no reason why albanians would want to destabilize their country!!!"

Because you know that you're not really independent and will do anything to not let the world forget about you.

And to everybody else,

Get used to the fact that people aren't considering Albanians as poor little victims anymore, because the world is realising what we have always known.

ben

Mini is utterly anti-Albanian.

He never said a word about the sufferings of the K-Albanians.

He is another Italian communist who sympathises with Russia/Serbia.

He is one of those people who have no problem to present the aggressors as victims and the victims as aggressors- as far as this suit to his communist alias Russian ideology.

He is one of those Italians that while the EU is trying to develop alternative supply sources of energy makes deals (see ENI with his opportunistic policy and far from loyal towards the EU partners) with Gasprom not only for the southern stream that is concurrent of the EU pipeline of the Caspian sea but also brings Gasprom in Libya and north Africa- increasing the dependence of teh EU to the Russian will and political influence.

He did his best in allowing the presence of the Serbian police in Kosova- explicitly infringing his mandate.

He has no shame in blaming his own NATO generals’ colleague to be corrupted- and this communist as the only honest. He makes me laugh ;)

It has to be the highest priority of the Kosovar Gov.t with the ally’s to try to influence the choice of the people that particular country will sent in Kosova- especially Italians- always been pro-Serbian but above all, without a clear national policy in any international issue/conflict- some kind of banana republic (as far as the international politcs is concerned).

Sorry to say this be we will not take lectures form a general of whose country the mafia has almost 50% of the national GDP.

true words...,

as far as it is known, only the swedish and italian KFOR-troops were really defending the true cultural heritage of Kosovo against the albanian mob in march 2004...

so, I don´t really care, whether this man is a NATO-general or a communist at all, as long as he speaks the truth.

but it´s not only him who is saying that. in the last time, more and more media coverage is provided about the albanian clan- or should I rather say gang-organized crime in Kosovo...

it´s just a question of time, until reason prevails!

People like Mini, Lambsdorf, Hakkerup and Jackson were the ones who made the situation in Kosova as it is today by allowing parallel structures and allowing Serbia's MUP inside Kosova. They believed that the consequences of such actions will only be bad for Serbs and Albanians however considering the opposite sides taken by USSR and USA they screwed it up for EU as well.

Gathering dust in the deepest, darkest basement you can find?
Ashes?

> Sorry to say this be we will not take lectures form a general of whose country the mafia has almost 50% of the national GDP.

And what pray tell is the % for your so-called 'republic of Kosovo'? 80%? 90%? Or higher still.

At least the italians are trying to do something about it. People like the late Giovanni Falcone have earned them that distinction.

Tell me please.. are there K-albanians like that in Kosovo?

Or are they all like you.

One of 'Randal Dewey's previous posts was absolutely identical (cut & paste job) to a post I read on 'balkaninsight' at about the same time. It was signed 'alboal'.

So 'Randal Dewey' is either a plagiarist, or is also 'albo-al'. Either way, is also lazy.

Hypocrits.

Ben:
