Samardžić calls on UNMIK to sanction local elections

Slobodan Samardžić has called on UNMIK Chief Joachim Ruecker to call local elections in Kosovo, to be organized by the Serbian authorities.

I can see a pattern developing here. If the UN fails to do its duty, Belgrade will increasingly exert authority where needed.

This can only work in our favour.

Why is Samardzic pleading with Rycker to allow Serbia to orginize elections in Kosova? Looks to me that he is desperate and finally relizing that if elections held are of no value in Kosova, and will be declared null and void from SRSG Rycker.Things are not going the way officials in Belgrade thought. I hope K-Serbs relize that the whole thing is a farce and will not benefit them anything.
