NATO Relased the v/t of the E/O guided GBU-15 bomb heading to the target and told everybody that it was impossible for the pilot to direct the weapon away as it was going too fast.

Then some years later it was revealed that NATO had deliberately speeded up the tape to give the impression that it was travelling too fast. If you now look at the tape and compare it to released videos from weapons tests, then it clearly does look like it is speeded up. When you look in to it and note that the release aircraft would have been at around 5,000 meters, the guided bomb being driven soley by gravity and the time of flight, then it is clear what went on.

The trouble is most people have short memories or don't pay attention, "stormin Norman" narrated gun camera footage of that attack and described it as an "honest mistake" while the first missile MAY have been the second after the plane flew round most certainly was not. That footage clearly shows that it is a PASSENGER train.

First off, my sincerest and deepest heart felt condolences to the families. It is amazing that NATO went on a 78 day bombing campaign of serbia, in which they used depleted uranium bombs, and many other things against every single person they found. From what i gathered, one of the reason that they indicted milosevic on was because of the death of 7 people due to JNA soldiers shelling in bosnia. North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is basically american. Bill Clinton was the president at the time. And NATO bombed heaps of civilians. Even albanians. So when NATO goes and makes countless mistakes which cost innocent civilians their lives we are meant to forget about it? put it all behind us and move on towards a pro western society? I would rather swallow razor blades then have serbia be a part of such an organisation. If only people weren't so blind and saw the crimes commited by the west then maybe we would have some sort of justice. But hey, they run the hague, so aslong as its around so is injustice, breaches of human rights laws, gruesome crimes contradictory to the geneva convention resolution, and more and more people who will suffer.
But thats the west for you, bomb first and ask questions.....well don't ask questions, just go find someone to use as a scapegoat.

The posts here do not ask why NATO was involved - there were lots of other deaths in the Balkans, and the NATO involvement was to ensure that the wicked killings that had happened in Bosnia did not repeat in Kosovo.

All of the deaths in the Balkans were sad and unnecessary.

Milosevic was not a good politician - he induced the bombing by his behaviour. On the other hand - what NATO is doing now is wrong. There was an issue about Albanians kicking Serbs out of Kosovo, and now NATO has rewarded that ethnic cleansing by supporting the Kosovo UDI.

My condolances to all the families of the victims.

It would be interesting to hear about the families of the 3 greek citizens that were killed. I know that their silence was bought for millions of dollars, but still, the families must grieve every day, as the serbian families of the victims of this war crime does.

Send the pilot to the Hague immedeately! I cant understand how he can look at himself in the mirror every morning and think about what he has done...

Hardly a mistake. A friend of mine was a bomb loader at Aviano in '99 and he says the pilot was authorized to release the missile. The pilot had doubts and asked for confirmation but command ordered him to fire.

Our hearts and prayers are with them and their families.
And we will never forget they had to die for globalisation-biggest dehumanization of all times.
