Lighten up Jack it was just a joke from Alba in good intention. How come you are so tolerant toward non-European Muslims like Pakistani and Indians and so angry toward Kosovars? Unless, you are Serb aren’t you?

Jack

I'll tell you what Alba. When Kosovo tax money starts being spent in Britain to prop up a corrupt, illegal regime with terror links I'll stop being angry about my British tax money being spent on Kosovo.

Also, when the population of Britain becomes 90% muslim (secular or practicing) and 95%of the population of Kosovo becomes Christian (secular or practicing) then I will stop calling Kosovaaaargh talbania and you can start calling UK Britainistan.

There you go!
Lets all here remember disqualifying the French TV station report from so called massacre in Racak on the ground that the camera man was a Serbian.
They are working hard to unite Serbs on Kosovo matter.

Kosovo's government officials waste millions of euro annually on such luxuries as telephone conversations, petrol, dinners and other non-essential items, according to an unpublished report by the ministry of economy and finances.

Civil servants spent their way through more than 8.3 million euro on car fuel in the first half of 2006, and more than 2.5 million on their mobile phones. The bill for food and drinks came to more than 4.5 million euro.

Car maintenance cost the country 2 million euro, although most of these official vehicles were almost new, having been purchased in 2003 and 2004.

Millions of euro disappeared on the foreign trips taken by government officials, eaten up by their "per diem" rates.

While government officials are clearly entitled to run up legitimate expenses, most analysts believe the current ones are far too high for a government that has so little money.

They say the relatively luxurious lifestyle demanded by the officials is draining away money from other priorities, such as economic development.

...foreign countries would not continue to subsidise Kosovo indefinitely, if its own officials were seen to be wasting money.

"The international community has agreed to fund the budgetary deficit in 2007," he said, "but what will happen in the future depends on the policies that the government has to set by itself."'

Some of your taxes and some of mine. Duty and VAT from Kosovo go into the budget. Then your wonderful, honest, angelic politicians blow the budget on perks, per diems and a generally lavish lifestyle, and then the IC agrees to pay off the tens of millions in deficit Some of that is MY money and I have written to my MP several times to protest at the UK's behaviour towards the Balkans and about their spending of my tax money to prop up talbanistan.

Ahh - so you are an expert on Serbian labour laws? Good to know.

As the previous poster from the UK pointed out, suspension with pay IS the standard procedure in many countries, including Denmark. A suspension usually means that an investigation is going on because NO ONE knows if the person did something wrong or not. Withholding pay during the investigation is simply not the right thing to do - innocent until proved guilty you know.

No my dear Jack,

It comes from MY Taxes and rest of the Kosovo's ppl taxes...(Kosovo's budget does not include foreign aid)

My advise to you.. next time your frustrations regarding where does your taxes end up, go and take it to your government

Jack

And the money comes from the Kosovar state budget, not from some UNMIK AID.
(Pejoni, 10 April 2008 11:24)

Where do you think the Kosovarse state budget comes from Pejoni? It comes from taxes. My taxes and the taxes of the other people in th EU an US whose foul governments have supported this talbanian travesty.

And if a policeman is suspended in the UK they can still be on full pay.

Jack,

Kosovo budget is not funded by taxes of other countries, but with taxes of Kosovars. Wherefore, unless you are Kosovar you don't have to worry about Kosovo budget and payment of suspended officers. You can ask only for a payments done by budget of the country you pay the tax.
As far as I know, only Serbia is paying salaries to K-Serbs who are not working at all and who are not paying any taxes!!!

Pejoni

Funny though even now when K-Serbs are suspended for three months, they recive full salary. What country in the world does offer that? Not Serbia, that I can promise! And the money comes from the Kosovar state budget, not from some UNMIK AID.
