send now serbian army there and kill their young people there, because of few grafitys

Spraying hateful graffiti on the walls of the oldest church in Serbia is indeed a defacement - at

least in the eyes of civilised people.

And I for one have not advocated killing anyone, & from what I can see, no one else on this thread

has either.

Only one who is suggesting such could happen is you.
Why? So that resulting 'incident' could then provide more propaganda against the serbs perhaps?

Shame on you.

Bad Gorilla:
I notice You sidestepped the question asked by 'Nicholas Klinsman'.

No answer I guess.

“destruction by the Turks, Albanians, Bosnian Moslem Nazi collaborators, and finally by Tito’s Partizans who very efficient at destroying Serbian Church’s while leaving Catholic Churches and Mosques intact.”

Oh my… the old Serb nationalist babble again. The same old use of the “Nazi collaborators precedent” to justify the mentality which created the things the whole world saw at Srebrenica, Vukovar and Omarska…

“Serbians have inhabited Kosovo and Raska (the land Moslems call Sandzak) for at least 1500 years and possibly much longer. Albanians were camp followers of the invading Turks and can trace their threadbare history back no earlier than the 15th century.”

Oh my… the old Serb nationalist babble again. The same old use of the “Serbs were the first and eternal owners of Kosovo”, even when all the serious historians and archeologists say that the Slavs just came in the Balkans during Middle Ages, and that all indicates that Albanian-speakers (remember that Albanian is as Indo-European language as Armenian and Greek languages) are in the region for many and many centuries, even by the time that weren’t no Slavs below Panonia and no Turks in Anatolia.

Where are all the Illyrian monuments and old churches? Surely there must be similarly dated structures in Albania that are credited to the Illyrians and can be compared in age to Gracanica, Pec, Decani and other places.

P.S. You can't use Greek or Roman sites only Illyrian.

How sad, I can only agree with Niall O'Doherty and ask one simple question to our Albanian visitors here. If Albanians truly are the indigenous people here then where are your monuments, where are your ruins, old cities, icons of your "glorious" past, your literature, anything at all? Oh right! You have none.

For all the hot gas you blow you have nothing to back up your claims besides a language that matches no other in Europe.... how strange since we are talking about immigrants, Albanians must have sprouted from the ground I guess. And how many centuries does it take to lose that title? Considering Serbs have been here (Balkans) for that past 2000 years?

And which type of crimes are we talking about spunky? domestic, narcotic, and murder crimes are currently dominated by Albanians my friend and not Serbs. ;)

A Church is defaced in the Sandzak drawing strong condemnation from Serbian Muslims, meanwhile the board K-Albanians feel the need for cheap political point scoring. How pathetic.

Grow up the lot of ye.

1. This proves that the cradle of Serbia was the medieval principality of Raska and not Kosovo (Dardania) which you didn't conquer until the 1300. 2. What you call Metohia we call Dukagjin which was Catholic Albanian leader in 1100s;way before the 1500s.

People like you without any knowledge of the real truth about the so called "Balkans" area have sped up the process of Kosovo independence day. This is by far one of the most ignorant remarks i have ever read about Albanians. stop reading communsit era launched propaganda about Kosoovo and Albanains. The West has concluded that there is no talking amongst teh Albanians and Serbs in regards to Kosovo as long as the Serbs dont admit the fact that Albanians are the indigenous peoples of this area, the Serbs are immigrants in this area, the serbs have occupied this area by force and then after established churches in the region (keep in mid Albanians lived here way before the Serbs existed) and last but least Serbs have commited all kinds of crimes on the population of former Yugoslavia.

Hopefully, these are just vandals with nothing better to do & authorities will catch them & put then put them to work cleaning up their mess - with a toothbrush.

Should keep them out of mischief for a while.

Ahmet Isufi:
> If this church was built in 9th century and is the oldest in Balkans,.."

Really gets to you that there is no K-albanian architecture even approaching that age doesn't it?

Parts of the structure are actually older - roman in fact. Has a internal circular well off to right side which was used for baptisms. Unique.

> I wonder when orthodox churches were built in Kosova, which is suppose to be the craddle of Serbs?

'Kosova' didn't exist back then & it only exists now in minds like to yours.

And back then region was known as Ras & borders were of course different - part of what is today Kosovo was included.

Believe you are the same person who believes that Russia cannot veto UN membership for so-called 'republic of Kosovo'.

Enough said.

Ahmet, it's true the Church of Sv. Petar is the oldest surviving Serbian church in the Balkans. The second oldest is the monastery complex at Žiča, and was built by Stefan Prvovenčani. Both churches are located in Raška, which historically included the lands of present-day Kosovo Province. So to say that the oldest churches are NOT in Kosovo is sort of a misnomer, as yes churches like Pec, Decani and Gracanica were built afterwards, but were all built in roughly the same time period. That also doesn't take away from their importance.

This Church of St. Peter in Novi Pazar is the oldest Serbian Orthodox Church to have survived destruction by the Turks, Albanians, Bosnian Moslem Nazi collaborators, and finally by Tito’s Partizans who very efficient at destroying Serbian Church’s while leaving Catholic Churches and Mosques intact.
