unfortunately, no one today takes this into account, since for the western countries the history of serbia began with milosevic;
besides this sacrifice, one must note that serbia was always on the side of the allies, primarily the us, britain and france, who have, in return, unscrupulously turned their backs away and supported everybody else but serbia in the dissolution of yugoslavia; today president bush is threatening the invisible enemies of croatia in zagreb (who are they?), ignoring the fact that he was on the homeground of jasenovac, the biggest slaughterhouse of serbs during WWII, and in the country that in the nineties chased out its entire serb population

The West was so grateful for Serbia fighting the Nazis that NATO bombed Belgrade on this day too during the Kosovo war. It seems as if Westerners bombing and killing Serbian civilians is turning into a bit of a routine.

thank you, uli. the truth is that members of each ethnicity fought on all sides, in very complicated forms and alliances. during the 1990s ww2 was "instumentalized" by the nationalists in the ugliest and most deceitful ways. this propaganda has not ended. but i applaud all who shine a light upon the truth, as we also try to do.
