Prosecution to review Haradinaj verdict

What a complete farce.

An appeal would be a waste of time and money because the atmosphere of fear and intimidation will prevail.

Why should anyone testify when they know they could end up dead in a canal just like the Serb victims?

Just a quote from one the leading Dutch newspapers (Volkskrant) today: "According to the judge, many of the murders, tortures and rapes of K-Serbs had been proved. That KLA soldiers were the perpetrators had also been proved. There was not enough evidence to prove that the defendant (Haradinaj) was responsible for these crimes."

So it was established that the KLA did commit many murders, tortures, and rapes!

None of the Albanians over here expressed even a slightest suspicion on Haradinaj’s innocence. They all believe this man is innocent and true hero. Many over here have accused me of seeing the entire Albanian population as criminals. Unfortunately, after reading posts coming from the Albanians I cannot think differently but to put all the Albanians in the same basket with Haradinaj, Thachi and many others. Again unfortunately their post proves my strong opinion on Albanians (since I know them very well) that they cherish their criminals and that none of the criminals is wrong. As I said many times and I will repeat again, Albanians shelter their criminals. It seems also that those good people amongst the Albanians unfortunately get killed by the people such as Haradinaj or their voice cannot be heard.
However, it is not my problem since haradinaj and thachi are not going to live amongst the Serbs but amongst the Albanians and that fact makes me happy. Albanians will face people vanishing or openly slaughtered just for opposing Haradinaj. The more criminals Albanians have the better for Serbs. I would say Albanians deserve no better than Haradinaj and I wish them many of these kinds of prominent characters.

Serbian police force did not come to foreign country but was on its own soil keeping law and order that you Albanians do not understand what does that mean. Your terrorist KLA launched the attacks on sovereign country and its defence forces. You Albanians have all the support now while you serve the agenda but what will be when you cease to serve I cannot even imagine.

The cardinal mistake of the Serbian side in this topic is to try to depict or naively suggest that KLA was a unified body with tight control and clear command structure. This could not be further from the truth. There were at least a dozen of KLA’s in operation, ideologically fragmented and at times in clear confrontation with each other. If we are talking about the concept of KLA in itself, it is only right that we Albanians identify ourselves with that fight. Every one of us Albanians stands firm behind our belief in the struggle for self-determination and liberation.
Equally, we Albanians and I hope I speak for the majority of us, are truly ashamed by the abhorrent crimes committed in the name of that struggle towards Albanian, Serb, Roma and any other group.

Let me guess! Albanian Mafia controls The Hague Tribunal as well.

Is it a criminal the one who came from Serbia and killed albanians in their own land or the one defending their children and family in their own home. Why I wonder serb criminals in Hague are not being freed as an inocent. Have we got Carla Del Ponte and judge Orie and the lot in our side, I do not think so. Who would believe a country like Serbia that has an arrest warrats for every politician in the region that is not serb.

Dear bmrusila,
No Albanian has claimed has Haradinaj was innocent. He was found NOT GUILTY by the same court that didn't have evidence to prove that Serbia commited genocide in Bosnia.
I am sorry that the court did satisfied you and find Haradinaj guilty on crimes which according to the court it was not sufficent evidence to convict him. I guess ICTY is not a serbian court to find people guilty by assocciation, only because they are Albanians!
K-Albanians are not cheering the release of "criminals" but rather the inability of your prosecutors to either charge the correct person, either the impotence of the prosecutors to find the correct evidence to convict them. They are cheering because those propagandists that claimed that Haradinaj was war criminal today made foul of themselves.
FYI, only newborn babies are innocent in this world. We are all guilty of something. And this included you and I too!
As per your comments that K-Albanians are immigrants in Serbia, open an history book to learn that in 1912 when Serbia occupied those territories Albanian where still a majority in Kosovo. Please read the memorandums of Vaso Cubrillovic where he speaks about how to expell albanians and COLONIZE Kosovo (1937). Open Yugoslav statistic of immigration to learn that during 1941-1947 only 3000 albanians moved back to Kosovo (they were all born in Kosovo or descendants of K-Albanian expelled before).

Marco, please open your eyes and accept, that there was Mr. Haradinaj subject of the trial. He did not hide (what other "heroes" still are doing) and if there would have been enough evidence for being guilty for what he was been accused - he never would have gone from there as a free man.
