Serbian tennis star Novak Đoković was welcomed by some 10,000 people in northern Kosovska Mitrovica; watch the video.

Novak is a true champion in every way.
What he has done for the Serbs in Kosovo is very inperational. A caring and unselfish man and a pride to his family and people.
Now it's time for Ivanovic and the rest to go there and show their support.
If they want our support then they must show their support for their people in times of great need.

Congratulations to Mr Novak Djokovic!
He has shown his great solidarity and pride for his own Serbian people and has brought great joy to the Serbs of Kosovo at this trying time. Hopefully more Serbian stars could help out their less fortunate brothers and sisters.

Sport can be a wonderful thing in bringing people together like this. Nole is a great ambassador for Serbia and hopefully in the future because of his support for the game of tennis there will be many more Nole's produced from Serbia.

He acted like a true orthodox must. He could and he built a tennis court there. Maybe in 5-10 years few new players will come from Kosovo and they'll do the same.

I must admit to having tears in my eyes when I saw this on the news today. Particularly moving was watching the excitement written on the faces of the children. I pity them - living without much of a childhood is just terrible.
Novak is such a responsible and remarkable young man. He is beginning to realise that he alone can change the lives of 10's if not 100's of youngsters in many ways.
