Surprisingly enough, Albania joined NATO today and this seems not to affect any single one of you proud Serbian patriots. Even though he (the minister) sounds a bit odd he's right. There are two distinct political entities (three if you include Voïvodina). None of them could be treated as a result of ethnic cleansing. Partitions would be seen as such.

"I guess the same should apply to Serbia then. "There can be no partition of Serbia, because that would be a violation of the basic principles..."

Thing is Serbia's bounderies are still the same, even though Kosovo/a declared itself and independent country.

Now if the Albanians in southern Serbia started to partition themselves from Serbia then your argument of PARTITION would apply.

RE: KS "Kosova has been de-facto independent country with its' own judicial system, police, health, education, since at least since I can remember 1974."

WOW!!! Silly me! And I thought you guys wanted independence because the Serbs treated you bad and did not have any rights in Serbia...

Thanks for finally saying the truth...You should be very carefull of what and how you write here, because somehow you recovered from amnesia...

As far as the Albanian minister, if thats it how he calls him self:

1. How would he call the roll of his country in the mingling in to the politics of Serbia?

2. Why doesn't he open up and say how much did Albania help and support the KLA?

Last but not least, did anyone ask for your opinion in the first place?

Jack, Kosova has been de-facto independent country with its' own judicial system, police, health, education, since at least since I can remember 1974.

Monty Python strikes again! Now dressed as Albanian foreign minister.

In a way I feel envy to him. He seems to be a free man. He can spit whatever sentences from his mouth –without consequences.

Oh, sorry folks. I forgot we are in the Balkans!

Exactly, Jack. The UDI of Kosovo is based on the 'extremist' idea of partition within Serbia, therefore how can the provincial Kosovan government complain about this?

What's good for the goose...

Does this man have any decency at all? This is exactly what extremists from his own nation have done to Serbia.

I simply cannot believe that he would make such a statement and expect not to look and sound silly.

Partitioning Kosovo would not violate anything except resuluiton 1244 which guarantees Serbian sovereignty over entire Kosovo. Now this resolution was already violated by the west and Albanians so if anyone is guilty of violating anything it's him and his own people.

What he says would make sense except for the fact that a partition of Kosovo from Serbia was the idea of extremists “who are usually involved in organized crime, and who cannot live under peace-loving conditions.”
