I don't advocate any Serbian politician cuting their/our own throat by isolating Serbia OR by not taking Serbia's soverignty seriously. Now is percisly the moment that the Serbian government can peacefully tell europe that they do not like the way europe is treating Serbia, and do not accept the way Europe is treating Serbia. I suggest, you did ask me for my suggestion, that the Serbian government does not refrain from representing the people in Kosovo because they fear creating a scene with "the neighbours".

You don't want Serbia to return to the Milosevic 1990s and neither do I. I also don't want Serbia to return to the Milan Nedic 1940s complete with a german installed puppet government and the loss of southern Kosovo.

Kosovo is Serbia and Serbia is independent. Serbia is open for business- this should be our message to Europe.

RE Marko

What do you suggest then? Should Serbia close its doors to everything that comes from Brussels and the EU?

I mean, I still remember Serbia from the 90's and wouldn't like to go back there ever again...

Just see Russia and the US. They can't stand each other but they still comunicate even they are cutting each others throats...

It apppears that the DS has gone to Belguim to beg for Serbia's dignity. Instead they will be promised more carrots.

The people of Serbia are tired of promises of carrots and need a government that will restore dignity, rather than beg for it.
