Everyone knows: in 21st century world's most populous democracy is India.
This reminds me about my favorite topics: visa regime.

Currently Indian citizens need Serbian visa, but they can travel to Kosovo visa-free.
Serbian citizens need Indian visa.

This would be a good time for MFA-s of India and Serbia to get creative about visa regime.

India will recognize Kosovo.

India has been supporting the US foreign policy on every aspect.
The indian ambassador to the US has openly supported the Independence of KOsovo. India will recognize Kosovo and it is a just a matter of time when this will come to you.
Read the foreign policy affairs , the latest issue. India has been supporting the US on every single political arena in the world, including Kosovo.

Actually EA they are books published and written by English,French,Italian and other Western European historian/travelers etc. Unfortunately the leaders of these countries today disregard history, which is pretty fortunate for you...

Thank you India for your respectful and principled support. And to all the USAphiles here India beside China are the world newest growing super powers beat that! 2 billion in the bag for Serbia. ;)

The separatists' province in India is Kashmir, folks! Some uninformed here are kissing someone's feet who is not supporting them - India faces the same problem like Serbia, as soon Kashmir claims it's independence.

From now on I suggest you Serbs boycott all American and European products. Show Bollywood and Maocedun style movies in your cinemas and expand import export with Venezuela - they got quality stuff to export:)
Say NO to Mc Donalds, KFC Spaghetti and Schnitzel, instead eat Burritos, russian Borsch and plenty of Rice - its healthier!

Can you enlight us when you talk about history books, are you talking about the books published by the Serbian historians and Serbian church? I am sure that we will get the only "truth" there)))

Ruben,

Formerly colonized countries like Indonesia and India are like a kaleidoscope of myriads of ethnic groups. They are not homogene like most European countries. They are constantly afraid that one of those groups could cessed. Their policy is not dictated by a special love for the Serbs but their special internal fear of losing part of their country.

America was a colony of France and England?

Hungary was a colony of Austria?

Croatia was a colony of Hungary?

International law and the UN was created to litigate international matters and Kosovo is the first nation not to recieve full UN diplomatic support since the creation. That is the precedent set in Kosovo which allows self determination for all nations including the Serb in RS, the Tibetans in China, Armenians in Azerbaijan , the Chechyans in Russia, etc etc.

The Pandora's box has been opened and it won't be easily closed.

Speaking of Homogeneous contries, do you think in your limited knowledge of history that Hungarians are a so called "homogenous country"

It is made of Avars, Huns, Magyars along who migrated from the Caucauses and you can include slavs in that mixture.

Your racist comments do not serve you well.

I think you forgot to read the article. India is NOT going to recognize Kosovo as a country. Let me explain. This means that Kosovo is Serbian. I dont understand why you are saying that Kosovo's independence is fully unstoppable when that is far from the truth. If it was then every country including Serbia would recognize.

I guess #4 is an Indian diplomat or govt offical, because he knows what India will do at the end of the year. Pretty cool that he is posting on this site.

The K-Albanians and their supporters can rant and rave all they like, but the point is that India is not going to recognise Kosovo. Isn't it remarkable that it is the rich "West" (former and current colonialists) and its puppets (muppets?) who are into recognition while those countries whose economies are growing fast from a low base (Russia, China, India, Venezuela etc) who want nothing to do with it. Three cheers for India.

I would tell you lots of things regarding your post but my beloved B92 would not publish it :-(

I strongly recommend you to start URGENTLY reading history books.

When you finish, come back here and make comments.

Indians saw no problem with the sovereignty of England when they declared independence.
It is a shame that former colonized people deny the right to freedom for other nations of the world.
