this is very low, even for B92! I guess now that Milosevic is gone, and Kostunica and Nikolic are busy with election campaign, B92 has taken the lead on spreading lies and propaganda.

The truth is that the serbs did attack albanians farmers; and why don't you report that a molotov cocktail was thrown at the Norwegian Church Aid office in northern Mitrovica yesterday night??? Oh yes, this kind of news doesn't fit in your propaganda. The truth hurts, doesn't it! What else you write is propaganda???

Well, at least Slobodan Milosevic and Seselj is proud of you B92!

I'm pretty sure that this will note be posted! However, it is enough that B92=bmrusila reads it and knows that the world is not buying their lies anymore!

The story is twisted and changed here because the truth is that the serbs attacked some albanian farmers near the village of Suha-do.
Honestly I do not know why B92 did this but maybe B92 was misinformed by someone in purpose.
Anyway this is not anything major, these things happen all over the world.

Am curious - are those the same Kosovo newspapers that blamed K-serbs for the drowning of those kids back in 2004?

You recall that don't you - it was the incident that sparked off all those province wide riots by K-albanians.

The same incident that UNMIK investigated after which they exonerated any K-serb involvement in the deaths - although it was too late to do any good by then of course, save to discredit K-albanian claims that they had any respect for the rights of minorities in the province.

> ...hard to belive what kostunicas news agency are saying.serbs killed also a peacekeeper by throwing bombs and shot with shotguns to peacekeepers, and serbs say that it was a mistake of kfor and thay were guilty for all.

Presume you are talking about the riots caused by that unnecessary & irresponsible mission that UNMIK launched on the 17th of March to arrest those unarmed jurists that were protesting in the court-house in Kosovska Mitrovica.

Rather than arguing the case myself, will simply repeat the report that the local UNMIK chief in Kosovska Mitrovica sent to the UN after the raid - blaming the riot on his superiors in Pristina - the ones who instigated it.

Here it is..

"The report says that the raid was a "badly planned operation to restore law and order in the north, which has led to the disappearance of law and order".

"The choice of the date – March 17 – the fourth anniversary of the last episode of the ethnic cleansing of the Kosovo Serbs, and the decision to arrest and transport the Serbs to Priština looks as if it was created in order to inflame the Serb feelings," Galluci adds.

"If, on some other day, the police simply asked the people to leave the premises before trying to arrest them, perhaps we could have announced a victory without a price tag," the report said.

"One positive aspect is that during the events Monday, Serbs did not disturb or attack Albanians in northern Mitrovica, and they cooperated with UNMIK during the evacuation of our civilians," Galluci said.

Some Albanians live in the north of the divided town, while there are no Serbs in the southern, Albanian part.

"Our credibility and relations necessary for our peacekeeping role in the north have been seriously, perhaps irreversibly jeopardized. Now we can all see that Serbs have a clear goal, that they are well organized and well armed. The Serb community in the north, regardless of whether people like Marko [Jakšić] and Milan [Ivanović], will gather around their 'radical' leadership, if it is directly provoked. The reaction to any attempt to arrest them would be fierce," the paper, entitled, "The report after defeat", says.

"All in all, it must be clear that the use of force to achieve political goals related to the status will not work. Just as we have said many, many times before… the use of force will only lead to violence that will probably accelerate the partition or will lead to new ethnic cleansing and conflict. This must be kept in mind when future decisions are made about UN courts, railways, electricity."

Galluci also suggested that UNMIK must "admit its mistakes and repent for what has been done" in order to continue communicating with the Serbs in the north.

"Albanians must be made to understand clearly: leave the north to us, live in peace and stop threatening with violence. We heard that Premier Thaci's been telling people he's been "having trouble controlling the Drenica boys". We did not annul the unilateral declaration of independence because we could not stop it. By the same token, we cannot force those who reject it to accept it. Not only have we no moral or legal basis to use force, but it yields no results," Galluci concludes his damning report. "

But by all means, keep up the propaganda.. not only illustrates your lack of credibility, but also gives us (the pro K-serb camp) yet another opportunity to present the real truth of the situation.

Keep it up.

Why are you lying for the people B92? Aren't the serbian goverment lying enough about keeping Kosovo ? Now you are trying to send out propaganda about the albanian people, trying to make them look bad. I tell you what B92, you are brainwashing your own people. Just like Milosevic did.

It was a group of serb who attacked albanian farmers while they were working their land. The peacefully albanian farmers withdraw to their homes and called the police.

The Truth B92. The Truth.

However if any of this is true the stone throwers need to be arrested, charged for assault and serve their punishment in prison.

Oh, it is impossible that those peaceful and peace loving Albanians did something like this. Kosovo is multi-cultural paradise where the respect for minorities (guaranteed by Ahtisaari) is at the highest level (read barbed wires that are Albanians very proud of).

Oh silly me, this actually must be the act of Serbian DB guys who can perfectly speak Albanian language, who perfectly act as Albanians.

All perfectly planed to provoke Serbs once again and cause the troubles. Why today? Well I assume it is because of Mr Samardzic’s visit to Kosmet and the aim was to incite the violence and frame Samardzic afterwards as to one who causes troubles every time he comes. Hm, must be that the plan failed, but the night is long and let’s see what will happen.

Read the truth once again “Kosovska Mitrovica is divided by the Ibar River into the northern, predominantly Serb, and southern, Albanian part. A number of Albanian and Bosniak residents live in the northern part of the town, while there are no Serbs south of the river”.
