oh boy, are they going to search for a long time!

@jovan

yeah, they need stupids, seems it ain´t serbia anymore (19 years anti-serb policy and hyms about a friendship), now it´s the "kosovars" and their eu-membership-perspective.

i wonder through which backdoor they´ll get the pseudo-state into the eu, where just one country is enough to veto it, and serbia has at least 5 in it´s pocket.

Thuggery and terrorism aren't examples of namecalling, it's just a simple fact that that's how the KLA state came to exist. It's a simple fact that the leaders of the KLA state are war criminals and gangsters but they aren't prosecuted because they are allied with the US and the most powerful NATO countries.

The EU has lost all of its principles and credibility. Its whole basis for existing was to creating a new world order based on international law. It has now shown itself to be nothing more than an economic federation of imperialist countries. The EU is a sham and a fraud.

I have one issue here, why in your comments you always call 100% of people terrorist, thieves criminals. Write your opinion without insults it makes for a better point. Should we call all SERBS mass murderers due to SEBRENICA.

Lets see how this develops slowly 30 countries so far MUSLIM countries coming soon, then comes AFRICA who desperately needs US aid so they will say yes and so on the ball keeps rolling.

KS,

You mention good luck to Chechnya? Is that the same Chechnya whos ''freedom fighter'' akin to KLA took hostage a school children and murdered children 10 years old and younger?

What does 'under world power' mean anyway?

The technical terms are actually terrorism, thugery, violence...etc.

"If a more large-scale recognition of Kosovo does not happen, Kosovo could be given the status of a "customs territory," which could allow it backdoor entry into some international organizations, they said."

Backdoor entry? You mean like thieves and criminals? Honest people always go front door...

Arben,

I think the 100 countries that you are thinking about are those that will vote for the ICJ to review Kosovo’s declaration of independence. From reading the opinions on other sites, it looks like Kosovo will lose this case. Where you will be then will make it a lot harder for you than now. You status will be still undefined and won’t have anyone to blame except your politicians for getting you into this mess. You will want to go back to the negotiation table then.

It seems the ISG is bringing Kosova to the UN but overriding the UNSC, by a 2/3rd vote. Serbia is trying the opposite strategy, to sue Kosova (in ICJ) by a 2/3rd vote.

What if only 30 countries vote in the UN General Assembly? What if the rest don't want to vote because they believe other cases will use the same tactic..a precedence?

I'll play "what it".

Kosova gets 40 votes
Serbia gets 60 or 70

STILL no near 2/3. You need 128 votes, and you don't have the opinion of at least 100 nations out there. This is fire, no wonder the ISG isn't going to play this game for a couple more years.

It shouldn't be too long before the options of the EU/US/NATO run out. Some of what they are saying is more bluff than anything else.

They will eventually have to accept reality and come to the negotiating table.

the EU and also the US should not waste their time and energy for something that just won´t happen...

I see this more as a message towards the K-albnians... as if they are going to be "recognized"...

but fact is, there aren´t even 50 states recognizing this mafia-statelet, so, whoever believes those illusionary stories about UN-membership... well, there must be some stupids on this planet otherwise we´d all be smart... right? :)

"The consent of two thirds of UN members was needed for such a decision, which, Brussels believes, is currently very difficult to imagine as a possibility in the near future in the case of Kosovo, but would take many years."

Difficult to achieve? Didn't Taci say that 100 countries promised him they would recognise Kosovo?

Promised HIM! A great statesmen!!!

Oh, this must be Serbian propaganda again...

According to European diplomatic sources, there is "concern within the EU over the fact that there are still not enough police officers, and partly judges and prosecutors, to enforce the rule of law in Kosovo".

No, really, can't be...after the today's report from The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) we do not need any further evidences!!
