Tom & Marko,

I have my suspicions regarding this comment by 'this' Ana and others made by the 'other' Ana comments.

You can draw your own conclusions but as you say Tom it does seem a contradiction to many other comments. Of course I could be wrong and clearly in that case Ana can answer the question put by Tom!

Ana, Koštunica has done more for Serbian then any other politician, he is a master of law and is not afraid to face the biggest bully's to defend whats right. Serbia will grow when it is lead by the right person, and Koštunica is that person. He has done well considering leading a country with small genuine coalition support, how small that support was evident when the coalition was dissolved. Because of certain individuals Koštunica was unable to do his job fully. Serbs must vote for Koštunica come May 11th, he has the backing of Putin in Russia, Dodik in RS and other prominent Serbs elsewhere.

I would also like to read Ana's perspective as I have enjoyed reading her posts as of late. I do disagree with her position on Kostunica, as well thought out as her position may be, I think that Kostunica is the only moderate politician that is doing something about Kosovo and I think the fact that he put his job directly in jeopardy to return the mandate to the people may not have been politically wise, but it was very brave.

Hi Ana,

Judging from other posts, you seem to be fairly absorbed by the goings-on in Kosovo, yet you obviously have no time for Kostunica, despite him adopting a fairly hard line on the province. What election outcome would you prefer and why?

RE: "to retain Kosovo as a constituent part of Serbia; to negotiate with the EU, but only as an intact country; to achieve economic prosperity; and to tackle corruption and crime."

We do have a saying for all of this in Serbia but my post would be banned if I wrote it here...

Anyway:
1. for the first part of the statement, I can reasure you, without even being a politician, you aren't going to achieve anything with that...

2. you won't achieve any economical prosperity without the EU

3. tackle corruption and crime...Hm, I can see Mladic is still at large...so don't think anything will be changed there...we still haven't found the assasins of Curuvija, etc...the mega tycoons are becoming even bigger EXTRA MEGA tycoons and no word of how they got the money in the first place to even start their big business...

Mr. Kostunica, I can openly say, that in my case you are the biggest dissappoitment of the 5th of October...

And I do hope this are your last months on power...

But something deep in side of me is telling me I might be wrong regarding the following election results...
