New York response to Samardžić plan imminent

Serbs live here in the enclaves, and they have to cooperate with their neighbors, who are Albanians. We have to try to turn Kosovo into a multi-ethnic society, and in a multi-ethnic society there should be no partition.

-I think Mr IVanko that Serbs cannot be used any longer for your and the EU experiments. You all know that there is no multi-ethnic society in Kosovo and every move in that direction will be forceful and artificial. You lost your chance to create multi-ethnic society by allowing Albanians to massacre Serbs in 1999 and 2004 and by not allowing the refuges to come back to their homes. You simply did not create the conditions for their safe return. No one want to live behind barbed wires and o one wants to be escorted by soldiers while visiting shops, cemeteries, walk around, go to schools. No one wants to be transported to another place by armoured vehicles. Why it is so difficult to understand that Serbs don’t want to live under Albanians, certainly not under Thaci, the criminal who used to kill Serbs and sell out their organs. We cannot trust that man since we don’t know when he is going to repeat his monstrosity. Serbs cannot trust Albanian police and they cannot expect any protection from Albanians.

Mr Ivanko, it would be really wise to let Serbs live their lives separately and be under Belgrade’s protection. Trying to create some artificial multi-ethnic society is meaningless and may possibly lead only to new bloodshed. If I was living in Kosovo there would be nothing in this Earth that could make me live under Albanians, they are not trustworthy when it comes to Serbs.


If you continue to insist on MUST then you can not expect any peace in Serbian province. Instead of MUST there should be COMPROMISE.
