Sejdiu, Thaci thank NATO

Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu thanked NATO last night on the eve of the <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2008&mm=03&dd=24&nav_id=48740" class="text-link" target= "_blank">ninth anniversary</a> of the attack on Serbia.

it is absolutely surprising to learn today from mr sejdie that the nations who took part to the 1999 intervention were in fact "allied" with the irregular KLA and were fighting with the aim to obtain the independence of kosovo and the separation of the Yugoslav Republic. maybe mr Sejdiu should inform of this Mr Solana, who, in a press release of March 1999 declared expressly that NAto was NOT "waging war against Yugoslavia" and that NATO was acting exclusively for the purpose to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe which might be caused by the Yugoslav Army and Serbian Special Forces. at that time NATo was acting only "to support the political aims of the international community" and NOT to support the political goals of the kosovar nationalists (link: http://www.nato.int/docu/pr/1999/p99-040e.htm). maybe mr Sejdiu should meet mr Solana, as well as all representatives of NATO governments and explain to them this retroactively. it is shameful that a spokeperson of the kosovar government may now misinterpret to such extent the history; personally I think that the NATO and the governments of the NATO countries should not recognise the kosovar government unless mr sejdiu clearly corrects his declarations.

Hmmm, Sedju and Thaci thank NATO, do they?
I wonder what would happen if Kostunica thanked Arkan for his past contributions to Kosovo Albanian integration, tax paying and the like....?
Praise? Contempt? Bombing of Serbia?
Oh the mysteries of double standards!

The most disgusting thing I have ever read in my life. A modern day politician thanking someone else for bombing and killing civilian men, women, and children. Remember, most of the victims on the NATO bombing capaign were civilians, not military!!!

What in gods name is wrong in the world!!!???!!

Clue: He wasn't Albanian nor from Kosovo/a!

Crime & corruption is as rampant in Serbia proper as it is in Kosovo/a.

And talk about human trafficking hmmm Blame the GREAT BEAR RUSSIAAAAAAAA!

Their mafia started it by creating a corridor to Albania. Its a transit point to the rest of Europe.

So try not to point a finger and look at your own backyard first.

And the Serbian Mafia is pretty big in serbia and around the world.

Peace to all.........

Crime doesn't pay!

Thaci's speech is really quite amazing.

There's virtually nothing in it that isn't a lie or a misrepresentation. Guess it just reflects the true nature of the man & the 'pseudo state' he leads.

Amazing.

Thaci, by the Kosovo people thank NATO, do you mean Kosovo Serbs too? Or do you mean Kosovo Albanians? And Sediju, you did not mention the 2500 Serbian civilians killed, including children. If NATO was trying to drive JNA out of Kosovo, why did it kill all these innocent civilians? I call it murder.

I think this is the most discusting news I have ever read in my life...

Just remember that NATO bombed Kosovo more than it bombed other parts of Serbia. Civilians died more than military personel...

Are Taci and Sejdiu trying to say that NATO have created bombs that only killed Serbs but no Albanians??? That bombs see the difference in nationalities???

This is so sick! Instead, Taci and Sejdiu should tell their people why there are 100% more cancer patients in Kosovo since the bombing that they are so thankfull for? Maybe because of the uranium head bombs that were mostly used in Kosovo in order to rescue Albanians from Serbs? Is this why you are thankful for?

“This very important date in the contemporary history of Kosovo is celebrated with the fulfilled dreams of many generations who fought for an independent and sovereign Kosovo,” Sejdiu said.

-Oh, really, I thought you began your fight for independence because you were oppressed by evil Milosevic.

Yet, both Sejdiu as president and Thachi (the organ, human, drug trafficker) as Prime-Minister of Serbian province of Kosmet are thanking NATO for killing their own civilians as wellThe one must be very stupid to thank organization that was involved in killing their Albanian civilians as well. Ah, silly me, of course Albanians have full understanding for collateral damage and thus their NATO friends are forgiven for these poor souls. But I presume it would be inappropriate just to say “thank you NATO for killing the Serbs”.
