Do you have any relatives here? If so ask them where they would prefer to live, EX YUGO or the US of A?

Its funny that serbs and albanians here in the US of A have no problems living next to each other as neighbors. They even mary each other and their kids are mixed. And no one seems to want to shave their daughters heads to show the shame that such a union has bestoyed upon their family.

If you're an individual that is young let go of hate and try to find solutions for both ppl's to live in peace and harmony.

Its anger and hate and misunderstandings, etc. that have brought us to where we are at. Oh I forgot to add Ego, Superiority Complexes, and Bullheadedness.

And I'm not excluding anyone in the region.

And your comments on an Idividual administration is not representative of the whole sytem which is still older then your new so called de-mockery of a democracy. The USA is one of longest lasting democracy in the world.

And maybe, if Serbia only had a 2 party system, then it would be nice to see a stable country where the administration actually fulfills its four year term without falling into chaos and the dissolution of the govt.

Where matters are worked out and individuals give precedence to the party/nation then their own personal interests.

Like your nationalists: I think their slogans, and this is an OPINION, should be:

My way or the highway!

We can start a war but never win one! Why is that?

I'd rather live in ISOLATION then make friends!

I'm Christian but hey forget what Jesus taught us for we know what is best! Poverty, Isolation, and bitterness towards our neighbors! For we are strong, but our bellies ROAR from hunger!

I hope the Democrats win, not because it would further any US policy but for the ppl of Serbia for they deserve better and so do their children!

Peace to all.....

"After KFOR and UNMIK troops stormed a local court in Kosovska Mitrovica where Serb judicial workers were protesting, violence spread to other parts of the town, killing one Ukrainian policeman and seriously wounding one Serb who is still in a coma. More than 130 people were injured on both sides."
I wonder if the abovementioned statement is true at all, since "protesting Serb judicial workers" stormed the same premises three days earlier, which led to the NATO and UNMIK reaction. And if force from UNMIK police and NATO was unbalanced, then it would be none of their staff injured or killed, but you can see from the aftermath: UNMIK one dead vs SERBS one in coma.

Hey Kiko, the US democracy looks like this to me: GW Bush being elected thanks to the florida vote that was counted again and again and that also was rigged with reports of people not alowed to the poling stations by locale police barrages and deviations,(strange enough all this in the state where the governor is Georges brother!?!? Then you have only two parties and the one with more connections and monney usually wins while the governing does not really change much at all, lets not forget exporting this democracy by abidding to NO international laws whatsoever,bombing,invading,trampling....Scarry type of democracy this is !

I wonder if the Albanian Commentator had supported the Nationalist/Ultranationalists view would they (Milan/Penjack) given a different response?

And as Lokita commented: If the serbs consider albanians still citizens why didn't they allow them to vote in their presidential elections?

Its seems you serbian folks want the land but not people who are not serbian.

And to the person from the USA, yes our democracy is one of the older ones in this world, but Serbia's is still the new kid on the block and trying to find its path. So for the past eight years you've killed Djindic and now you have Nationalists that are EX communists vying for control of not just the government but what the ppl of Serbia should think too.

That is not a Democracy!

There are still many elements of the old system in place and its no different amongst your neighbors. They don't call the Balkans a "powder keg" for no reason.

So long live Democrats and the EU. Where all individuals are equal, can prosper jointly, can live in hormony, and be without borders............

Peace to all....

I think this guy is smart.
Why wouldn't serb voters vote for his political party that he belongs? If serbian government have a guys like him in all government offices then I am pretty sure that serbia will join EU in a very short time.
As an Albanian from Kosovo I would like to see political movement is Serbia toward democracy.
(Eagle, 23 March 2008 23:24)

Well then, as a Serbian citizen, you should exercise your right to vote for the candidate(s) you'd like to see in office.

Great! Just what the Serbians need, advice from an Albanian on how Serbia should achieve democracy.

Here's some advice for you Eagle from an American in a democratic country -
Throw your terrorist government officials, including Hashim (the Snake) Thaci, out of office. Send them to the Hague to stand trial for war crimes. Then maybe you can give advice to others on how they can become democratic. Your political leaders are disgrace to every citizen living in Kosovo. Shame!

After the ousting of Milosevic Serbia has been considered a democracy so your comment is quite ignorant and offensive (where have you been the past eight years?). Serbia is only viewed as democratic (by the West) if the Serbs vote for people who are supported by the West, otherwise they are all a new Milosevic (and so they will choose for isolation; Serbia was isolated because of the embargos). If you like him so much, please offer him a job in Thaci's puppet government for he will not get his current job back (unless he decides to abandon the DS and join the radical party). His party will not win because President Tadic kind of lied to the half of the Serbs who voted for him and a big part of this half will not be fooled again (it is that simple). It may be good for the radical party to change its name to the Serbian Patriotic party or so (which may lead to an inproved image perception as well). The EU has absolutely no interest that Serbia joins for a long time and I hope that most Serbs realize this by now and that Serbia will be better of outside of the EU. Considering the legal issue surrounding Kosovo it will be quite clear that once Serbia signs the SAA Kosovo will be lost for the time being (but not forever). A Serbia outside of the EU can have all kinds of business relations with various EU countries. Next time please leave your "advice" to yourself, because most Serbs can think for themselves and they know what is good for them.
