EA, here we go again. How do I know that Russia and Serbia are upholding international law?

Simple. Even the secretary general of the UN says it. Now go and argue with him about it.

Do you really think that you can make something look black when it's white? I am surprised that comments like yours even make it through the moderators.

Russia and Serbia have the worst history for abusing human rights and violating international law. They even kill their own people such as prime ministers, journalists and whoever opposes current tsar! They have no right to talk or criticise others for breaching international law.

Peggy,

How do you know that Russia and Serbia are unhelding international law? Is that because that what Russia and Serbia say? According to Russian and Serbian "modern" dictionary "international law" means "complainance with Serbia and Russian interests".

EA, he means international law. Russia and Serbia are only upholding that law.

Why do you find it necessary to put words in someone's mouth? You know, this tactic won't work.

You are going to be seen as a simple minded person who just can't read an article and grasp the meaning of it so just refrain from sarcasm as it only makes you look silly.

Also, perhaps you could refrain from threats as well. What do you mean when you say that this is a clear message of things to come if Serbs don't accept Albanian rule? When the Albanians were doing whatever it took to separate would you have accepted Russia saying that they will do whatever it takes to silence you?

Double standards here. But then you have great accomplices in that department. You have taught each other well.

“Not now, nor in the future will Serbia face any attempts at blackmail or imposition of certain conditions by Russia. We have never had two levels of negotiations—public, where we say nice things, and another level, where we make some sort of bargains. That certainly isn’t our practice,” the ambassador underlined.

Now that is how a TRUE ally treats you! Please note the difference between that statement and those that come from Washington, Berlin, Brussels, London and Paris. Is there any need for more convincing?

“I think that it was a signal to the Kosovo Serbs, Belgrade and all those who do not recognize Kosovo’s independence: ‘We’ll do what we think is necessary,....

You got it right the Mr Ambassador and I hope that those who resort to force will read the messege as you did. When it comes to your reference of "international law" did you mean Russian and Serbian law?
