Duma: Moscow seeks new status talks

The US does not abide to International law. It does whatever it wants, where their military might must be respected. Until that military is counter-balanced (US), they will get away with doing as they please, imposing their will on nations as they please. The balance will change one day, it always does. It happened to the mighty Soviet Union. A world-wide balance of powers is the only thing that can save this planet from American imperialism where the intoxication of power rules above all. Even above the welfare of it's own citizens. This is not what our American forefathers fought for. My country has been kidnapped.

I agree with the balance of power concept. Its the only method to supress US imperialism. The Serbs and Russians have only one alternative, and that is to fight fire with fire. Otherwise, initiating
dialogue with someone that believes in force is futile.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the weakening of Russia under the pathetic alcoholic Yeltsin, the US became very arrogant and began to take unilateral actions that it would not have dared take when Russia was strong. Under Putin and now Medvedev, the power of Russia has been rising again, and assisted by massive energy supplies the country is almost back to where it was. In the not too distant future Russia is going to say "no" to the US and the US is going to have to listen.

It would not surprise me at all if that moment of confrontation occurs in the very near future and the issue at stake is US policy in the Balkans.

Mr. Rusia your country is a joke. You have no power to stop Kosovos devolepmend. Yor try'ed to stop Kosovos independence but you coulden't. Kosovo has it's allies and the strongest ones in the world. You and Serbia is living in a bad dream. A bad dream that brings shame to your countrys. It's 2008 now Kosovo is ALL READY a country reconaized by the most powerfull countrys in the world. And there are more coming. There is nothing Rusia or Serbia can do to stop the positiv devolpmend in Kosovo. You are just dreaming a bad dream.
