Every time I see Albanian and pro Albanian posters here praising someone for their vision of what Serbia should do I know that Serbs must reject that person without question.

There is no way on earth that Albanians want anything good for Serbia. Everything point to them wanting Serbia not just defeated but also humiliated, as they constantly prove this by their sarcasm directed at anything Serbian.

So please pro Albanian camp, at least be honest in your remarks and say they way it is. This guy is great for us but bad for you rings more true than the false concern for Serbs and bad advice you are so eager to give the Serbs.

Where did you get this information? Has there been a referendum among K-Serbs? What I get from interviews in Dutch newspapers is that K-Serbs, especially those in the enclaves guarded by foreign soldiers, feel that life under former guerilla leader Thaci will make things worse. Many of them stated that sooner or later they would have no other option than to leave the grounds were their great grandfathers were born.

"At the moment, the "existence of a large number of citizens in Kosovo is threatened", but Serbia is not dealing with that, instead, "it deals with territory", "I think this is impermissible, that we put territory before life in the 21st century," Šutanovac concluded.

Absolutely simple, to the point, brilliant, and at last. Someone worth voting for in Serbia.

Bronxxx,

K-Serbs want to integrate??? Not those north of the Ibar as far as I can tell given what happened on March 17th. If anything, their message of REJECTION of integration was loud and clear!

well mr Sutanovic as you talk for threats and if you go just a little bid back in years as much threat serbia is to region no nation or terrorist organization are more threat to EU .

I am very impressed by Mr. Sutanovac's speech. He is a brave man to speak the truth. The serbian people have to realize that what your government did in the wars of Bosnia, croatia and kosovo were grave, horrible, evil deeds. Hence, it is because of that that Kosovo, Krajina, and Bosnia were lost.
Put yourselves in the albanian's shoes. If an army came in and for 96 consecutive years oppressed and mis-treated you just because of the fact that you belonged to a different ethnicity, would you still be able to live alongside that government or would you seccede?
Kosovo independence was a seed that was planted in 1989, when milosevic took away our autonomy and started employing a policy of ethnic cleansing against our people. So it should come as a surprise to no one the position in which we are today.
Fighting kosovo independence will cause more harm to serbia than the albanians.

Yes Mr Sustanovac is right here, the Kosovo defence force I just heard is going to be much smaller that I had hoped for, roughly about 4-8 thousand man, because run by the EU there will be woman as well, which I hope so.

After all not a formidable army to threaten anybody but just to be able to alarm KFOR when Kosova’s borders are endangered by Serb VS and paramilitary, who from May this year is going to be on the hands of how knows whom, most likely radicals.

In other words this should be a good new for all of those who love peace and stability in the Balkans.

pure and simple, washington was very unhappy with how the ds reacted in the first days after the illegal attempt of secession. and they said so publicly, its no secret. they told ds to cool down the rhetoric, and to start talking about the eu and they just simply did and continue to do that. they put g17 in front to bring down the government too. its a shame innit. i looked at the face of this man tadic on tv last night, his eyes, and i wondered what goes on in his mind? what reasons has he for this and how he justifies it for himself? how people live with themselves when they are in such a position. to take an oath on the constitution, to assume office of the president, and then actively work violating all that. i know serbia is no great country, it has so many flaws. but i would expect more than complete loathing for it from any president including tadic. yet he displays just that, loathing and contempt for serbia.
i'm now thinking, neither of his parents or himself were actually born in serbia. there probably is such a thing as bond with the earth, the place you were born in. when i was most angry with serbia, and saw it make the biggest mistakes, at least the feeling of pity never left me. tadic has no pity for serbia even. if we are punished so badly that his lot somehow manages to snatch power in may, i will still feel pity for serbia. i wont loathe or hate it like these strange people do.

Finally something sensible from somebody in Belgrade. If the Serb government had had this attitude, a mutually acceptable deal would have been signed by now. While I don't agree with his "Kosovo is a province of Serbia" perspective, I agree with him that human life, even that of my opponents, is more precious than certain abstract notions.

Serbia will not again rule Kosovo, it would take some heavy duty ethnic cleansing to achieve that. If they wish to influence events in Kosovo, Serbia must talk to Kosovo and try to address the issues. You can't go on with "Kosovo je Srbija" and expect things to happen in your favor.

This is an incredibly dishonorable perspective.

Telling the Serbian people that they should forget about the territorial integrity of their country is lunacy.

Should we also tell our soldiers not to gaurd our borders because it can result in paper cuts? what is next for the DS?
