Jovan,

One of the first things Serbia needs to understand is the respect for free speech and free press. Allow B92 to exercise its media rights.
I urge B92 to allow more comments and relief itself from fear and danger. It's the only way Serbia is going to move forward by being challenging lies, mythology and chauvinism. B92 is challenging these obscure stigmas, even though there is a censure, I bet B92 is being coerced by the undemocratic government of Kostunica and SRS.
Canak's call is rightfully said. He's mereley protecting the future of Serbia's citizens.

Freedom means success and prosperity.

anti-serbian agitation...as usual on B92...

or should we say US 92 ? :)

amusing, since someone out there believes this to be necessary, Serbia is not lost.

The albanians love Canak so much, I think we should send him there where he can lead his friends. We don't need such people in Serbia, they are a disgrace.

dragan,
it seems a little late in the game to start worrying about your elected officials here in 2008 during the post-yugo era. that sort of thinking would've been welcomed with open arms nearly 20 years & over 250,000 lives ago.

Ana,
I think you misunderstood Python's comment, which I think was very sarcastic and referred to all the propaganda levied against Serbs in the 20th century until now. This is different from actually believing this, which I think Python does not.

america's economy, like every other free market economy, is cyclical with peaks and valleys. rest assured america is not on the verge of collapsing anytime soon and one thing is for certain and that is that a tiny, distraught serbia has anything to do with america's economy.

"There is only one country in the world that want war and that is the US. Everybody else want to do business but the US are going bankrupt, that is the real problem.
(Python, 19 March 2008 14:06)"

That is perhaps the most frightening aspect in all of this. The US economy is going down the tubes and is already in recession despite the best attempts of Wall Street to cut the interest rate. The credit crunch from the sub prime mortages are really starting to bite. With the US bogged down in Iraq, what better way to revitalise you economy by going into war. It worked in 1941 when Japan single handedly hauled the US out of recession. Total war economy = works both ways. Distracts the locals from the real problems and round up the army of unemployed back into the factories making guns and marching the poor unfortunates off to the front. By Jingo we do.

RE: Python

Which history books do you use for your "education"? Probably the same ones that say that Serbs never lived in Kosovo before the 20th century...here is a way of thanking you for building all of those beautiful orthodox churches for centuries knowing in advance that Serbs would come to Kosovo in the 20th century!

Anyway, back to the subject:

Do you mind explaining how did the Serbs start WWII? I do know what was used as a pretext to start WWI, but sorry I'm ignorant about WWII...

Patiently waiting for the explanation...

Here we go, the old propaganda is out again. Serbs have started World War I, Serbs have started World War II, and now they want to start World War III. Come on guys, use your brains. There is only one country in the world that want war and that is the US. Everybody else want to do business but the US are going bankrupt, that is the real problem.

It has a come to the time their own minority in north is warning them for wrong doing, of course for the Serb camp he will be called a traitor and a scarmonger.

These stories are just for domestic consumption. We have to move on and look on to the future instead of barking the nationalist cries of the past.

If we look honestly at the situation, the war in Kosovo has never even stopped...or how do you call the progrom and killing of Serbs, the setting of fire of Serbian homes and churches? Or this is freedom fight as well?

This is all bluster, but it's dangerous bluster. This guy represents only a tiny fraction of the Serbian people, so he should measure his words carefully. I'm sure the electorate of Vojvodina will let him know (again) what they think of his irresponsible rhetoric.

yep, that's right but unfortunately he wont be able to do that now, imagine if NATO wasn't in Kosova, that guy would've done same as Milosevic did.Wake up serbs don't listen to him, you should send him to jail, he is the second person after Milosevic who've done the biggest dammage to serbia.
Thnx to all the countries who liberated Kosova from this sick leaders and a big thank you to all those countries who've recognized Kosova till now.
