What is happening in north Kosovo is an outrage, I have herd that Serbs have great education. Why would someone allow to be lead like SHEEP. I can not expect for Serbs just to go on with their life and accept it so easy. But fighting UN, Moving away from EU this is not a Logical step.

Well said Stevan. Serbia has just as much right to be supported as anyone else.

If the US can break international law to support Albanians then Serbia has even more moral and legal right to be supported openly as they are doing everything by the book.

Another failed foreign policy decision by George Bush. As an american citizen I oppose the formation of the state of Kosovo. I hope John McCain reverses this decision if he wins the Presidency. We have idiots in the State Department. We need another Islamic state in southern europe like I need another root canal.

Best wishes to the Serbs... Keep the faith..

I think it's a matter of perspective marco 2. Was it the Serbs being violent to the UN or the other way around. Civil disorder is, i believe, a legitamate form of protest.

I do think Churkin has enforced the Russian point of view, which is shared by many other countries, that the illegal breakaway state of Kosovo is just that and will find a lot of trouble gaining acceptability in the UN at least.

As EA said, this may be adding fuel to the fire but the fire was already burning.

EA,

“ … Russia with its open support for Serbia is adding fuel to the fire .... “

Well, US supported you guys even more openly. At least Russia didn’t bomb you (yet) as US bombed us.

Marco (#1),

In future postings please state where you are from, because I do not want to be associated with your comments. BTW, how come that suddenly there is another Marco on the B92 forum?

I wonder whether Churkin will condemn Serbian violence against the UN police and the Serbians who have occupied the UN-run institutions in nothern Mitrovica.
