My point exactly, they do not have the habit of staying on their knees, so why should they do it now?
Why does not Russia/Gazprom buy the rafinery at a fair price? From our own experience this preference thing is not quite the right thing to do.
On your other issues, Romania still has some gas resources so the only thing that it supports is a fair trade. The arrogant attitude as it was proven I do not think it works, we already pay the highest price in europe for russian gas and still ... Also, there is already a russian pipe going through Romania so... Nobody in europe wants advantages just free and fair trade.
Anyway, it's up to the serbs to decide.
PS. Why don't you write your name? I'm orthodox too, stil ...

1. The Serbs have no habit standing on their knees. Check it from your Grandfather.

2. From many points of view the Serbs are the closest nation for us in Europe. So remember your own judgemets to be confused in a few months when it is evident that Russia is declaring and doing the same things.

3. Look at Romania's behavior during this decade and tell me what shall we give you advantages for ? Maybe for your pro-American attitide in many questions or your constant support for the dead born NABUCCO or maybe for your politics in Moldova ?

4 . Romania this few years is no longer open hostile to Russia. But it's not a friend yet.

5. Don't worry Serbia will supply you with gas !

I think the Nis issue was just a russian trick. Gazprom knows they would never run a pipeline through Romania given the "friendly" (to be read as almost enemy status) bilateral relations between Russia and Romania so they have to pass it through Serbia anyway, but why not squeeze something if it is possible? Serbia should not negotiate on her knees with Russia just because Russia does not support Kosovo independence.

I cannot comment the news because I have questions :

1. Didn't Kostunica and Tadic understand when they forced to dissolve the Parliament that by hanging up such a problem they newtralize Russia in the coming election campaign ?

2. And if they did isn't it a joint trick to prevent Russia's moral support for Nicolic ?

3. Don't they understand in Gasprom that the Serbs are now busy with more important problems than the Contracts around The South Stream ?

Regards !
