"Wait until the radicals get in to power in Serbia, provoke a confrontation with KFOR, KFOR commander orders serb forces out of ground safety zone. Then there will be freedom for Presevo !
(Memli, 16 March 2008 14:39)"

You mean that the KLA or ANA will slip into Presevo, provoke a confrontatie with Serbian army or security forces, and realize that KFOR cannot order anything.

I know I am not supposed to post anything insulting, but this attitude is simply stupid:

> Democratic Party of Albanians leader and Preševo Municipality President Ragmi Mustafa said his party (snip) is not interested in parliamentary elections because "Serbia does not wish to help ethnic Albanians".

And:

> Democratic Union of the Valley leader Skender Destani said his party (snip) is also not interested in parliamentary elections.

This attitude is totally counter-productive, or a bad excuse for not being able to formulate a policy that can attract voters.

As Winston Churchill said: "Democracy is the worst form of government except for all those others that have been tried."

It is their choice in the end of the day. No one force Albanians to do anything they do not like to do. The only thing they are best at is to blame Belgrade for all their frustrations and inabilities to change anything that makes them unhappy around them. The Presevo Valley gets from Belgrade exactly the same as any other regions in Serbia, nothing more, nothing less, but it is their problem that they don’t know how to handle the resources.

As for not taking part in general election it is again their own decision (which will be after a while turned out into oppression by Serbs), but I am not concerned because their presence in the government would only be used in order to cause instability and obstruct the governmental work.

He too is "dissatisfied" with what Belgrade has done for ethnic Albanians in southern Serbia and says he "does not expect anything better in the future".

- At least ethnic Albanians in southern Serbia don't live in ghettos. At least ethnic Albanians in southern Serbia can plow their own fields. You can't seriously complain about the way you're treated, considering how you treat Kosmet Serbs.
