Obviously UNMIK will have to carry on as the EU really are trying to bend the law beyond any reasonable breaking point.

If you are looking for an alternative, I suggest that there is a stronger case for the Serbian police to go in than there is for the EU! (See my comment 14 on yesterday's Bildt article:

It is time to stop treating Serbia like a whipped dog. Democratic Serbia needs to establish a legal case for it to reenter Kosovo despite the strictures of 1244 - and I think that the case exists.

However, I am not a lawyer, so I would like to hear an informed 'case against' (if it can be made).

Holbrook is really revolting but on other side it is good for us that he always bring it to us in a such brutish way, without usual diplomatic “newspeek”. Not everyone reads very well between the lines. But these guy will be understood by even most naïve. Radicals don’t need any propaganda, they just have to show American “diplomats” expressing their opinions on our TV much more often.

It is amazing most of the foreign countries involved cant solve their own problems. But they can solve other country's not so economically or militarily endowed problems. If they don't cater to their whims hypocrisies self righteousness they are threatened to bomb them back to the stone age. Every one of them are all so brave and courages as bunch of gang thugs and bully's together. They set up hypocrites anonymous organizations to hide behind of to not be responsible for their criminal activity. Bullying actions as individual states and the excuse every one is doing it so it is OK right. Unless some one dares to threaten and disagree with the hypocrites anonymous organization then you get their wrath and indignation and the table turns on you become the criminal rouge state and your people because they say so and hypocrites are never wrong are they? Why they don't try their hypocrisies bullying with Russia ,China or India of course then they are chickens they will get the stuffing and hypocrisies knocked out of them good. Then they have to think very hard reason before they speak and act illegally with their gang mentality. Also the gang bullying camaraderies would not be so sweet when their would be a heavy price to be paid if you joined them. The brave new world order spare us your stupidity arrogance hypocrisies folly all of you how prescribe to it and follow it blindly. By your self serving greedy blindness you are taking the world over a cliff to destruction!

"Tanjug news agency says that another participant, former U.S. Balkans envoy Richard Holbrooke, reacted to this by saying that he "knew about that" and by – bursting into laughter. "

How revolting!

Oh, seems that the EU has some difficulties in overcoming the crisis and mess they created. It seems as well that they are accepting the reality of de facto partition and there is nothing they can do about it. They are all aware that using a force against Serbs won’t change the situation a bit. Serbs are determined to take over the North completely and establish institutions back under Belgrade’s jurisdiction. It is only question of the time when Serbs will take over the South of the Ibar. It may take 15-20 years, but it certain that our province Kosmet will be fully taken over. I expect that certain number of Serbian forces will come back to the North, all in accordance to resolution 1244 that guarantees the presence of Serbian forces in province of Kosmet.

Kouchner also accused Russia of being responsible for the absence of a negotiated agreement between Belgrade and Priština.

-Now this was really ridiculous to say. Is it possible that all these European puppets have no enough courage to address the USA and point the finger in right direction, or at least to keep mouth shut if there is nothing intelligent to say?

I just wonder what Holbrook was doing in this forum, who is he representing? He and the others may laugh at Russia as they like, but I don’t think it will be for long.
