Cedo Jovanoviq to lead serbia, i think that hi is the best man to be a PM. All ballkan states will go forward with him, and in 10 years time he will be the first European Presidant.

Clearly when i make the kind of comments that the liberals do, i remain, um, unpublished... so -- thank god for the liberal party! under every repressive regime, be it russia, belarus, burma, or any number of other unfortunate countries, there exists an intense democratic opposition, fighting for democracy and human rights, and UNder the gun! literally. i've written many times here how we've lost count of the assassination attempts against our frnd cedi jovanovic, or threats against the best TRue leaders inside serbia, people like sonia biserko and natasa kandic.

i suppose if they can garner the courage and persistence to keep up their missions, then i have at least the same moral responsibility to tell the truth no matter how many people wish not to hear it.

I'm curious;

Can one of the posters above, name 1 tangible positive outcome from Kostunica's policies so far (not just empty rhetorics about EU and Kosovo)? How have ordinary Serbs benefited from Kostunica's posturing?

I've said it before here....whatever the outcome of May 11th elections, the Serbs will have no one, but themselves to blame...or congratulate. Since the Kosovo Albanians won't be voting, it's all on you folks.

How in the hell is it in the national interest to have an Autonomous Vojvodina? How would this bennefit or stimulate the economy to add layers of expensive and unresponsive government. When will the NDP explain to Serbia specifically who's interests they represent.

Here we go again with the LDP making ridiculous statements read off the sheet given to them by Washington. They are not working for Serbia's interests but actually working for the destruction of Serbia.
Kostunica is a patriot, and the US and their minions don't like patriots who dare to be free and independent, who dare to stand up for truth and justice. They like slaves and subservients who will follow orders.
The LDP and their ilk could not even fill my bathroom with supporters if they tried to organize a protest against Kostunica. That is what Serbia thinks of them.

Milošević was not a nationalist but someone who followed his self-interests.

Đinđić should never have been allowed to hand him over as it was against the Serbian constitution and he ended up paying for it with his life.

So depending on which party currently rules will determine who is the hero.

As for Koštunica, I think he represents the mid point between the SRS and DS. Personally, I feel he best represents the balance of Serbia.

Just when I thought that certain politicians couldn't get any stupider, someone does something and proves me wrong.

So now Kostunica is Milosevic's double.
Should we all persume that once someone doesn't agree with the politics of another, they should brand him as a next villan/holocaust denier/mass murderer/Hitler/Milosevic/Communist/Saddam Hussain/Pol Pot or any other person/ideology/event which is deemed as offencive or crude by NWO and the West regardless of weather it is true or not. West picked and supported Kostunica, so now he's like Milosevic.
I suppose its the same thing with Saddam Hussain. America's favourite, until he wasn't and just as quickly became a vilan akin to Hitler.
Just more and more and more propaganda and scare tactics. When will this nonsense end?
