On Friday, the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference, meeting in Senegal's capital, is expected to issue a statement formally recognizing Kosovo. It's a significant step for Kosovo, which has sent letters to each of the 192 U.N. member states asking for recognition. At the same time, Kosovo is fighting a counter-diplomatic effort led by Serbia.

Well if as you guys suggest that most of the Islamic world is with you on the issue of the recognition of Kosovo, than one more point falls when you blame Kosovans as Islamic terrorist country. It means that, this Serbian supposition of creating a Islamic terrorist country should be left aside and then finding another justification for the independence. My guess is that you are running out of “justifications” …

RE: American Coalition Partners

It is entirely predictable that UAE and Saudi Arabia will recognize Kosovo at the behest of the US.

The more interesting question is will Israel recognize the KLA illegal terrorist state.?

Five from 57 countries are not the vast majority. And, just to mention, none of those countries that opose Kosovas independence, has no sympathy for Serbia, they are just worried about their internal problems.

The overwhelming majority of Islamic countries are supporting the Serbian position. This has been quite obvious for a while even though some Albanians had suggested the majority would support them. The Islamic council of Serbia is also strongly against independence.

There is no doubting the precedent this sets is huge. Look at Georgia now, with two of its regions pushing to merge with Russia. Also, Turkey with its continuing conflict with the Kurds is merely attempting to spread further instability throughout the world to keep the US happy.

A big thank you to all those muslim countries supporting Serbia and International law. Peace to us all!
