Croats prefer fishing zone to EU, poll says

But Italy and Slovenia say the area has to be shared between the three countries and have accused Croatia of breaking European Union regulations. What regulations the one EU Brussels made up fore Italy and Slovenia to rape the fish stocks and ecology in Croatian waters side of the sea for a quick Euro like they raped and did on their sides of the sea. Of course the international law of the sea and ocean that Croatia has implemented and all coastal nations of the world operate under are not valid because hypocritical EU said so and made up some rule. That is total hypocritical nonsense coming from the EU and its cry babies Italy and Slovenia. Its amazing how the Italians and Slovenians have their own ZERP in their waters. But Croatia dose not have the same right and have accused Croatia of breaking European Union made up regulations. Brussels Croatia is not even in the EU nor should it be with the EU Brussels law breaking hypocritical ways. They treat independent nations as some slave colony of the EU Brussels they feel they can do what ever is to their self serving greedy advantage and profit.

Well well I am rather surprised but pleasantly I must say. The EU is not as attractive as it once was is it? When they reveal their true face of aggression and blackmail you no longer wish to be associated with such a group. At last the Croats have begun to realize what the Serbs have already known.

Agree with comments by Vuk, and D92. Finally the eventual third class EU members are realising what the EU is about. Serbia has known it for a long time, looks like the Croats are finally waking up to the bullish and exploitative tactics of the EU that only serves the big boys!

First of all I would like to congratulate the Croats on this move, I don't like you, I don't hate you, but I respect you (now). You have now realized that the only thing the EU wants from SRB/HRV is their natural resources and the beuties of their land (Ski resorts/Beaches). I mean, we were prosperous in Yugo because we traded with each other a lot, can't we do it again? (We don't have to be one country, I don't think anybody wants to go through that again)

Not just fishing rights - there needs to be an independent Krajina too (based on the Kosovo model of course).

Again I ask, why is everyone so obssessed with EU membership? Yes, there are pros, there are cons, but in the end, who cares? Why does it matter so much if a country is in the EU or not?
