If they give guns back, rest of serbs in enclaves are in dangerous. It seems to me EU wants to have clear albanian Kosovo. After that they will see what people from kosovo are able to do - Europe will be full of drugs and all gangs will be organized from Pristina - capital of crime.

They got the guns from KPS in the first place, it is not their guns to take home. If they don't want to work for KPS anymore they have to hand in their guns back.

I can understand the serbs in the north of Iber rebelling and not taking orders and whatever, but I feel sorry for the serbs in south who are getting played like puppets by Kostunica.

At the end of the day, they have no choice but to co-operate with K. Albanians since there is no chance the the serb areas in the south will ever be able to seced and join Serbia.

If Belgarde is blackmailing the K.Serbs (leave KPS or we will stop aid to K.serbs) what hope would have ever been for K.Albanians.

The actions of Serbian goverement during the last three weeks have only confirmed that there was not solution apart from independence.

Ahemt Isufi,

There is no such thing as independent Kosovo. Don’t forget that your IDU is illegal as long as resolution 1244 is in force. Don’t forget also that the EULEX is illegal as well and therefore Serbs can negotiate only with the UNMIK representatives. For Serbs in Kosovo will be far better to under Belgrade than under Pristina.

If the Serbian police is withheld the weapon, then Serbia will provide them with weapons.

There is nothing to negotiate. Either you comply by taking orders from KPS chain or leave the police services.
I personally think that majority of them will come to terms that they are better to play by the rules and will return to work and not to listen to Belgrade any more.

With a bit of leeway from both sides KPS will reach civil agreement inside the force. Sometimes the interests of two sides are served better by a civil agreement rather than detailed legal contracts. I suspect the relations between two parties in general would be arranged on agreements. I do hope to god that Belgrade leaves Kosova be.
